All this is my conclusion, my humble opinion, based on decades of contemplation. I could always be wrong and do please correct me if I'm wrong.
Life does have an inherent point/meaning/purpose from a biochemical/evolutionary perspective... and that is survival/reproduction. But, this is in no way a good/sane/moral/rational purpose. Survival/reproduction of course includes all the emotions and urges built-in to our physiology and psychology. The emotion of "love" (in all it's forms) exists for very specific evolutionary reasons/pay-offs... just as hunger and thirst and sexual lust do.
When it comes to the purpose of an individual human being, we came into being and also exist for a definite purpose... and that is to service the needs of other people (as others exist to service our needs). But again, imho, this is in no way a good/sane/moral purpose (in-and-of itself = a gigantic web of mutual need, with no higher benefits, a galactic multi-level-marketing scheme is the epitome of evil, imho).
People often say "Life has no purpose... so you need make up your own." To me, that's absolutely unacceptable... reprehensible even. To me, that means that I should allow myself to be forced by society/family/the economy to perpetuate my life/suffering for a made-up purpose.
Beyond those, I can find no other purposes (unless and until one starts imagining gods existing)... and that means no other good purposes whatsoever.
