No. That's basically why we're all here.

Because it's absurdly hard.

Even if you had a magical substance that could one shot you with a 100% success rate, you'd be unable to take it or use it.

Survival instincts would kick in.

Honestly is anything literally 100% surefire except death? If you're looking for advice you're gonna have to forget about that. There's nothing guaranteed in this world. Tomorrow the world leaders can go nuclear, a meteorite can plunge the world into chaos, and aliens could come destroy our planet. All absurd things right but not exactly impossible just improbable.

I wish there were. Even using barbiturates can't guarantee 100% success, but I suppose it's the closest.

Realistically speaking, Is anything in life surefire?

There is always some risk associated with any method of self harm. And I am not even talking about the survival instinct in humans here. Non-human animals, insects, and microbials are also genetically programmed to survive and reproduce.

My apologies, I am probably not being much help here; however, I am trying to be realistic. There are no guarantees in life - expect at one point death due to natural causes. (And that is for now - if doctors and pharma have their way, one day they will create some kind of medicine in an attempt to eliminate or extremely prolong the time-to-mortality).

firearms, specifically a shotgun to the head, is the method with statistically the method with the most lethality (+ low agony because you'll be dead in under 2 mins), but i know those are hard to come by.

the most reliable and painless methods would be: shotgun to head, jumping head first from high place, get hit by a high speed train without a suicide pit on the tracks, inert gas with a sturdy bag and a flow regulator, nembutal, explosives, full suspension hanging from a height

If there was a surefire way I probably wouldn't be here anymore. It really is hard to die and our survival instinct can really get in the way of doing this. Many many people have had failed attempts. I wish we could all go peacefully if we want to and have a right to die.
