What constitutes "proper cider" is a question many cider drinkers feel passionately about.

In France any sugar added disqualifies a drink from being labelled 'cider'. Many go by that criteria. Certainly there is a lot of sugary crap on the market. I could never make Bulmers my regular cider, for instance. I do like Thatchers, however.

Would you regard Thatchers as a proper cider?
