• Hey Guest,

If you would still like to donate, you still can. We have more than enough funds to cover operating expenses for quite a while, so don't worry about donating if you aren't able. If you want to donate something other than what is listed, you can contact RainAndSadness.

  2. Locate your Monero address.
  3. Go to Kraken and sign up.
  4. Deposit money and buy XMR.

That's pretty much the procedure for any crypto exchange you want to use. The only snags that come along are withdrawal limits and identify verification steps the exchange may have. Not sure about Kraken as I haven't used it.

I wouldnt go with kraken, they are sh*t. they put my deposits and withdrawals on hold and ask for many requirements to release them. they asked me for verification requirement that I just couldnt do. I wouldn never open account them if I knew they gonna ask all that cr*p.
I ended up just install a wallet on my PC and buy bitcoin via a known money changer (not sure if thats the actual english term) - you just pay them money and they send bitcoin to your wallet. There is a fee - but you adds up kraken or other exchanges fees of deposit + withdrawal + trading Im sure its more expensive

Kraken holds your first deposit for 72 hours before you can withdraw so keep that in mind. But yes you can buy monero on there. It's the cheapest on there by far with fees.

''4. Deposit money''

Does it mean that I use debit card or something else?
(Sorry, I'm totally new to btc/monero)

Monero is safer and you can use monero to buy stuff from other 'websites'

You buy monero with a debit card, you can also use cash but that's if you buy monero via localmonero. You can also convert bitcoin to monero using https://changenow.io/ or the other converters mention on getmonero.org
