I saw whole poppy seeds at the supermarket and I was wondering if it's a good method (I'm not using this method) but I'm curious.

I looked it up, and while it technically can kill you, it'll take a lot, and I mean a LOT of poppy seeds. One death was reported with 3.5 pounds of poppy seeds, but I'm not sure if the site is 100% accurate. Also, even if it is, the victim did it for god knows how long and didn't die. I think you'd need drugs/meds to have a higher chance of dying.
