Is partial suspension hanging effective from metal bar in closet?

I was wondering if using the metal bar in the clothes closet, would be a good idea? Also what rope should I go for and where do I need to position it to close the carotid artery and block blood flow to head? Please comment or pm me details with links etc...Thanks

Yeah I've used one of those before, I can't imagine you'd have any trouble with one of those. I was thinking about the same thing.

I have seen a lot of failed attempts on this forum. I am starting to come away from this idea now.

I weigh 10 stone 11 so I'm quite light. I can't imagine I'd have difficulty in it holding my weight.

This i am also wondering, im sure if the bar can hold your weight then sure but it seems others are having issues with it too... i experience tingly feelings all over and lightheadedness but thats the extent of it before my SI kicks in and i stand up.

This is how my 17 year old daughter went.. :-(. So yes it can work, and why I am here. It will be 3 years next month and there has not been a day that I do not think about joining her. Just need to stay a little longer until a few things are taken care of, then I can greet death like a long list friend!

Not really sure if she even wanted to go... Partial hanging seems like a way a accident could happen easily, however people that really want to go never find the right spot to make it happen. Life is strange... I would have done anything possible to save her, but now all I think of is doing the same. I have tried partial several times without success, and have decided to move on to another method.
