Method Is partial hanging with a trash bag more guaranteed?

I was going over methods of suicide, and I'm trying to make sure I have at least three methods in mind.

Because cutting is almost never guaranteed, and I have a tourniquet sort of ready, but I can't find that "sweet spot" for the life of me.
Partial hanging left me feeling light headed when I took it off, so I assume it will work, so, if I'm extremely drunk, and I cut a trash bag down to size, put it around my head, then put my head in the noose, will it be a guaranteed death?

If its tight enough around your neck and doesn't get loose then it should be more guaranteed
