Same here. My SI is absolutely insane. That's why I'm going to use SN to ctb. It's much more reliable than od methods, if done correctly.

Yeah generally speaking authorities have long since taken off the market pills that cause death. So I don't think it will work.

I've OD'd more times than I care to remember and I'm still here with a somehow still fully-functional liver. And I've done some real shit to my body...One of those experiences, it felt like my body was tearing itself in half from the inside out and I was in such pain I called EMS. So I really don't advise it, success vs failure rate overall in suicide is stacked against a person, and it's even higher against them when talking about pills.

Two of my suicide attempts were with zolpidem and alcohol. I was prescribed zolpidem from 2012-2014 which I abused but also stockpiled. The first attempt was with 200mg and the second was with 900mg. My goal was to stockpile until 3,000mg, but that didn't happen because I was impulsive. The second attempt with zolpidem and alcohol I don't even remember, just that when they found me, my oxygen level was at 20%.

Yes, psy. hospital is where I ended up, and then ended up with a huge friggin' bill.

Nah, sleeping pills alone won't do it anymore. The OTC ones these days are about useless, and even the prescription ones have a much weaker impact on the respiratory system (making them less deadly) than even 10 or 15 years ago.

I combined... dozens of sleeping pills with a couple fifths of liquor, and just ended up in a psych ward. Where I met a nice gal who'd also taken a bottle or so of prescription sleeping pills and went into the bathtub to drown in her sleep... but the pills weren't strong enough to keep her knocked out once she inhaled her first breath of water.

So... even combining modern sleeping pills with something else isn't likely to get the job done, they're just too weak.
