I'm planning to do the peaceful drowning suicide by hyperventilating into throwing my self into the sea but I don't want my corpse to float after I pass out.

Side question: what do you think of this method ? what else can I do other than hyperventilating to make it more peaceful ?

the panic and terror and pain of water filling your lungs
It makes your lungs feel like they're going to explode. Have you ever had a contest with your friends where you all go under the water in the pool and hold your breath until you can't take it? That's what it feels like or worse.

Hyperventilating crawling and standing up suddenly to have syncope and fall in water?
Because if you just hyperventilate and hold your breath on the surface before blackout there is a lot of urge to breath fighting.

I have hypoxia. It is extremely terrifying and painful when oxygen drops. I could kill myself easily that way. SI kicks in. I did try. Not my chosen way even though it would be easy.

From reading some articles, drowning is listed as very painful but you only die once so i guess dealing with some discomfort will only last for a couple seconds.

Unless you're somehow weighed down your body will eventually float. I've seen tons of gore pictures of people that have drowned, the entire body get's completely bloated and disfigured and rises to the surface.

This is the second time I've seen the acronym "SI" now. Would you mind telling me what it stands for? sorryyyyyy
