I have mixed feelings about this.
What is better milk of magnesia or Tagamet as an antacid?
Cause in the attached screenshot it specifies it's a saline laxative so it's used for bowel movements. It don't say it's for stomach acid reducing.
So my question is..is milk of magnesia a brand and the purpose of the product depends on which one you buy or is it for the same use regardless of the brand? Cause let's say if I have this one and I'm about to drink the Sn, then in the next six hours could have diarrhea but not reduced acid of stomach?
I have tagamet too as a said but could have access to Talcid.
Please what are your thoughts on this last one?
How many people have successfully succeeded using tagamet?

Thanks to everyone that have any thoughts on this.

Hiya,

Have you checked Stan's guide everyone is using it, https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/stans-guide-to-sn.27535/ I don't think he mentions a particular antacid but i'm using tums 1000 just to be sure I guess.

Magnesium Hydroxide is a chemical used for reduction of stomach acid at low doses, but also used as a laxative in high doses. The difference in effect is purely due to the dosage. It comes in a number of forms, including chewable tablets or an oral liquid solution. When in an oral liquid solution form (and without any other active chemicals added), the solution is called Milk of Magnesia.

I believe one of the SN guides mentions Milk of Magnesia as being just as effective as other antacids for SN purposes, but you would need to double-check that and not just take my word for it.
