I ask myself that everyday. When I heard that someone old dies and some people say "Woah they lived many years" and they are amazed and some kind of happy because they lived long lives. For me it's like Luther King said " It's now how long you live but how you live".

It amazes me how much effort the society as a whole put into making people live longer and the little to nonexistent effort into making life more... livable.

I certainly hope the hell not. I'm 40 right now and I have no desire to try to end up as 70,80,etc.. Part of where I am at mentally now just sees that as time I'll have to be working at a shit job just so I can die with a uniform on. I see no possibility that I'll ever be able to retire/not work and I have no children so I'll be on my own to suffer through. Why put myself through that?
