Help Is it possible to turn a necktie into a noose

Title. My dad has a decent collection of ties from back when he was able to work and I wonder if its possible.
I do have the ability to buy rope but I was just thinking what's the point in waiting and spending the money if I hypothetically have a method right here y'know?
