• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I am not planning on doing this, because my chemistry knowledge is extremely shallow, so I'd rather not risk it. That aside, is it technically possible, with not much financial investment, to acquire sn at home?

It's probably possible but also probably low purity

It's possible but with limited chemistry knowledge, it would probably be insufficient in purity. Additionally, with enough bad batches, you might wind up spending more than simply buying it.

Possible? Yes, but not entirely practical unless you have no other choice. Most methods involve reduction of sodium nitrate, which is pretty cheap if you know where to look. The problem is the effective methods use chemicals that are relatively hard to find or have to be produced themselves, while the easy methods produce very low and moderately impure yields.
