Is it normal to cut?

Is it normal to cut yourself weeks before CTB? I'm currently thinking about it as I just relapsed, (any tips on how to get deeper with dull blades would help!). Yet is it normal? People always told me cutting was pussy and if your gonna cut yourself just CTB? Is it pathetic to cut yourself? :/

my blades are so dull idk what to do im trying to get the the fat as ive done that before but it won't slice

It's much more common than you'd believe. People hide it, in fact I don't know anyone who openly has (though I do know a couple of people due to being in friend groups but even they aren't talking aloud).

Statistically, not normal. But not as rare as you believe.

If this is a question or right or wrong, there's no answer for you. People wouldn't cut if the brain didn't cause some sort of process that involved it, so it's not like yours is broken. But it's also easy to say "the body wouldn't purposely hurt itself." Still a bullshit belief, the brain doesn't care about our wellbeing it just runs a program.
