From what I've seen posted, 150ft+ is usually advised. Floors/storeys are often 10-15ft in height.
@Lookoutbelow, who sadly left the site recently(presumed to have ctb) spoke of aiming to jump from the 16th floor of a building.
As long as it's jumping onto solid concrete or asphalt obviously.

Oh yeah, Just make sure there's a hard surface underneath (eg: concrete)

I'd say 17 floors is likely gonna do it if the impact zone is a hard surface. Someone in my state died recently from a 5 floor drop when he fell by accident.

There was a death last week from a 65ft overpass and a woman a couple weeks ago who jumped from 36 stories but didn't die instantly - so it varies. But 17 floors seems like a sure death.

Yes , you didn't here it from me but if i were to jump from a building roof , i would buy a ladder and jump from it. Depending on the ladder , you can gain 1 or 2 floors.

If you have access to the roof of course, but jumping from a window from the 17th floor, that should do it or at least reduce drastically your life expectancy. Lol
