This is horrible. It's like everything is shaking like Im in an earthquake but it does not show on the outside. It happens when I'm tired or just waking up. Anyone else get this? It last for hours. Last night it was just in my feet. Usually its my entire body. It's every day.

I'm not saying this to scare you at all, but I wanted to mention it.
My dad complained about this for a while before his emergency heart surgery. He's also diabetic and doesn't take care of himself, so I'm not sure if it was a symptom of just the heart stuff.

Op do you think it could be anxiety related?
If it is there are some skills you can learn to help alleviate the feelings.

Have you seen a doctor about it?
Anxiety can make your heart race as well.
Waking up is a very depressing moment for myself as well.

Like others mentioned, could it perhaps be anxiety-related? I experience something similar when my anxiety is getting intense, although for me it usually never lasts any longer than 15-20 minutes. It feels like my body is shaking uncontrollably, but in reality I'm probably not really shaking that much on the outside. For me, it helps to try some grounding techniques. It might help to just have a glass of water, or try to control your breathing a little, or you could look into other techniques if that doesn't help. That is, if this is all anxiety-related, but I could be completely wrong here! I hope it manages to feel easier soon, sorry you have to go through this. Wishing you all the best.

Not to alarm you, it could possibly be a nerve issue? I don't claim to be a doctor, but I had a similar problem that would keep me awake for days because it was keeping me awake from the feeling of what felt like a phone vibrating on me. My doctor said it was a nerve issue, but it thankfully resolved with medication and time. Here's hoping yours can be resolved.

My hands have a slight tremor. I've had it since I could remember. I'm really self conscious about it because I think people judge my shaky hands. I get anxious about getting anxious because my tremor worsens when the anxiety increases.

I need some kind of medication but I don't know what. It's now about 3:30 p.m. and it's been going on all day. It gets more and more little by little all the time. It's exhausting.

Ever since I crashed on pharma meds I get this weird tremor when I wake up.. like I'm rocking on a boat.. and my pool game is down a level or two because my arm shakes when I line up for the shot.. it sucks because I could have gone pro.. now my game is so inconsistent..
It's definitely a central nervous system issue..
Been taking minerals and herbs for years.. it's slightly better.. but last week I started doing deep breathing exercises to calm the system and I hardly had any tremors when I played..hoping it lasts and just gets better

if you're interested look up " Wim Hoff breathing exercises"

I don't drink alcohol usually due to stomach issues, but I have a bottle of bourbon and I'm going to try drinking some to see if that helps. I can't take it any more. I will try the breathing exercises also you mentioned.
Yea, bourbon helps a little.. I usually have a drink or two before I shoot.. but the breathing sticks alot better.. and it's healthier.. give it a shot for a few weeks /month

Do you temporarily lose the ability to move when these tremors happen?

No. But they are very tiring. I am forced to do things while it's happening, try to function in spite of it.

I noticed today I am almost totally deaf in my left ear also.

Okay. Are there any visual or auditory hallucinations such as flashing lights? And do your muscles feel sore after it it over?

I feel them come on as I wake up every morning. At first as I wake up they aren't there and then I feel them start up as soon as I am fully awake. They usually last for about an hour, sometimes two hours. Today they have gone on all day.

When I lie down on my back I get a sudden dizzy spell. Sometimes it's so intense I have to grab the side of the bed since I'm completely disoriented.

Later in the day if I get tired they come back.

Is it painful? I have something similar to what you described but it's very minimal and not painful. I just assumed it wasn't dangerous since it isn't painful. It's been going on for decades. I think it might have something to do with the ssri/snri type meds, not sure.

I would go to the doc, maybe its just vitamin deficit or low blood sugar. but who knows, we can just guess, i think a visit at your gp might be the best solution. I struggle with this too but its anxiety related. Wishing You well @Meditation guide :heart:

Fair enough. The reason why I asked those questions is because at first I suspected that it could have been some form of sleep paralysis, because I have had similar symptoms. Looking at your answers now though I do not think that it is paralysis. To repeat what another user has already said: You should definitely go to a doctor, it is your best bet to get yourself properly checked.

Also: I am not a medical professional so please take my post(s) with some skepticism.

Update:
I did those exercises 3 times yesterday and woke up today for the first time without the tremors! I can't believe it.
I'm still not sure that's why but after the miserable day yesterday when they went on all day, it's incredible to not have them today. I owe you a lot if this is really what did it.

They went on until I went to bed last night. That's why I'm not sure the breathing exercises were responsible for not having them but I will continue with them. I feel they are helpful.

Good to see you're better. I'm gonna try that since I have tremors too from time to time (my left hand). I am a cofee drinker and I think that has an impact on this.

Yes it does. But I had these when I didn't drink coffee too. I feel I am breathing better today. Let me know if you get results. I did these three times last night before bed. I hope I can remember to keep doing this every day.

If you find they're helpful you will make it a habit.. just keep going buddy.. stay cautiously optimistic and don't give up at any slight setbacks.. give it an honest chance

I wore my oxygen meter on my finger as I did them as saw my oxygen saturation go from 95 to 99 so maybe being better oxygenated helped. The exercises stretch out the lungs.

I'm drinking coffee today too without tremors. It's really nice. I can get something done instead of lying in bed unable to think about anything except the tremors.
