An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.
Does being under the influence alcohol make it easier for one to CTB? Or is it different for everyone? I've read lots of suicide stories and many of them seem to involve alcohol but I'm not sure if that is because alcohol makes it easier or those people killed themselves because they were alcoholics, or both. I'm 22 and never had a drink btw.
I had a couple of vodkas before my last attempt. Just to induce a feeling of reckless euphoria (I was jumping and was stopped) and combat survival instinct.
Well, I already knew that this was the effect a couple of voddies would have on me. Not enough to upset my balance or co ordination too much, but sufficient to afford that bit of "what the hell".
Thiiiiiiiiiiiiis. I was going to try and drink to overcome SI and then I thought "Y'kNow wHat? fuCk It! LifE aiN't sSssso bAd." (I had a lot)
You are correct, alcohol affects everyone differently. For some it is perfect for allowing them to take that last step. For others, not so much. You also need to be careful you are not so drunk that you can not then carry out your method. You also need to make sure having alcohol in your system will not interfere with your method.
So, kind of a risky bet and I would highly suggest you know how alcohol is going to affect you before you try it.
