Does anyone have a list of users who succeeded with the inert gas method? I'd like to read their posts.

I'm interested in this at well.

I remember someone posted a list of successes/failures by SN, but no other methods.

I dont think we do have one, but I notice few members in nitrogen or inert gas post that are not here anymore, as if they did ctb I dont know.

The limiting factor to inert gases is that it is "mechanical" and some find the idea of a bag over their head scary. He few reported "failures" sound like either the wrong gas or a panic attack. Done correctly, the only method than can be less uncomfortable or cause more rapid unconsciousness is perhaps extremely high doses of IV Cns depressants

The method works, it is peaceful, and extremely fast.

I also wouldn't mind a list of current members who are knowledgeable about the subject. I don't want to exhaust the roster of 5 people I've been messaging.

Have you seen/read this? Don't know if it has the info you're after but it might.

I never see this on a gas canister where i live, probably different from your country, but different grade for the same gas is most likely that you have industrial, laboratory and medical and each of them require different degree of purity, but ultimately i suppose it wouldn't do much different if its argon or nitrogen. Because their use requires a 99%+ purity unless its a mix of gas like argon-CO2.

I think the grade is not going to be important for argon, it will be for the grade 4.6 99.996% purity, the 4.8 is 99.998% and the 5.0 is 99.999%
So just take the cheapest.

No worries! but double check on the website where you buy it, because it could change by country but I don't think so.

It is not as peaceful as told. People like to say that the body does not react to a lack of oxygen, only to an excess of CO2 but there is a reaction and you feel it as a rapid heartbeat and faster breathing. IDK, it may be psychological, maybe people that are suddenly without oxygen do faint in seconds without panic. I once fainted during exercise, i was just running and then i woke up on the ground, never saw it coming.

They habe slight differences in purity.
The first number indicates the numbers of "9" s, the second number indicates the first number that is not a 9
I.e. 4.8 could be 99,998%
Or
99,999% would be 5.0
4.6 should be 99,996%

Do you think/know of any other unpleasantness than preparation effort? I am asking because I am still a bit scared of experiencing something umpleasantfull after being blacked-out.

@LetzteAusfahrt Told me that for Helium he did feel himself going unconscious but with hydrogen no warning, he blackout with feeling it.
I suppose helium would be the same, but now its restricted in purity because of is use in CTB, they tempered it with oxygen, so choose argon or nitrogen.

I will do some test when i receive my regulator for nitrogen, to see how its feel and how long it take.

You meant nitrogen for hydrogen, right?

I can't even follow your post. It is hugely beneficial for the site when people spout uninformed "well in my opinion/feelz" about a physiologic process.

I don't want to mislead other, that may think that what i say is 100% sure if i speak out with confidence. I try to give information, but like everything is this world nothing is 100% sure, i don't want them to take the wrong decision just because i write something. Im not an expert and i dont want people to think the opposite.
