Why didn't you go through? Fear? There's supposed to be no pain so it wasn't pain right?

I don't know about others but in my cases i made some mistakes in my setup (i didnt knew this site back then)
I stayed 1min to 2min under the bag and I didn't pass there still oxygen in the bag i think
Now i cant try again due to my multiple fail attempts, i dont have enough gas and money.

Did you have aftereffects?
Would you describe your failed attempts?

I think, the description is already provided. She just gave up after 1 - 2 minutes, while the method is not guaranteed to work so quickly.

Yes I had aftereffects like a strong headache, fast heart beat, ears hissing, pain in my chest like horse hit me, (i dont know if its the consequence of the hyperventilating or multiple attempts) and i was very tired after 3 attempts a day (and 2 an other day)
I cannot be sure but i "feel" something weird in my head/brain for more than a week, but now i dont feel anything strange
Everytime i did it i didnt feel any pain, the first time i test it i laughed because i was happy that i can finally died
But after the euphoric episode i started to feel panic and fear that it didnt work, i was so stressed, the noise that the gas made is very loud, i was afraid that my neighbors could hear it
I think the method is reliable but its not for everyone, its very technical in my opinion

Yeah i gave up after 2 minutes because i knew that something went wrong, from what i read here i should already have pass out but i didnt, so i think i made a mistake somewhere

I had passed out, and there definitely was no pain. Only a slight headrush just before hand. But my SI kicked in and because I didn't have a strong enough bag secured strongly enough I somehow managed to tear it off. So basically my set-up wasn't good enough. But it did solidify it as my most likely way to go when I try again.

Nothing long term but when I came to there was profuse sweating and a long period of rapid, shallow breathing. I will use a much stronger bag and duct tape to secure. I don't think I can secure my hands but I'll likely try to inebriate myself beforehand. I was sober during that attempt.

But you Know the bag must have an elastic band with a small gap.

Yes I began to panic because i didnt pass out, i think the bag wasnt inflate enough to removed the oxygen, i was afraid of ended with brain damage.

On Sunday I had also failure with exit Bag.
What about this method?

I believe I could put the mask on, purge the O2 inside it by flushing it with pure nitrogen, then just taking normal breaths would work? A full face scuba mask with built in regulator would allow you to take in full breaths and exhale CO2 out of the mask, allowing only pure nitrogen to be breathed in with no build up of CO2.

Anyone have advice on this? I have read that some people worry about how air tight the mask is, but I imagine if its tight enough and/or use petrol jelly around the edges that I could prevent O2 from coming in. I have seen reports of this working online, but also some people nay saying it as not as effective. I just thought it would be more peaceful to be able to see clearly before passing out.

I have been theory crafting the idea if using a full face scuba mask connected to a pure N2 cylinder.

But not balloon Helium and with a flowmeter?
I didn't have a flow meter but yes it was pure helium. In my first attempt I was stupid and had the 80/20 mix balloon helium so I didn't pass out.

Yes, that works, there are multiple threads about it already.

Well, SCUBA is used under water. If you want an air tight mask you need SCBA. It is what firefighters use - the interior of the mask is slightly pressurised. So if there is a leak the lung demand valve will just increase the flow. No outside air will get in. Users have built some elaborate setups.

Flowmeter is a good thing. Is it Helium for welding?

How do I PM? Can you PM me, I'm looking for some direction on where to buy SCBA mask LDV adapter etc.

I remember back in college getting one of those red helium tanks for party balloons. I had all the gear for inert gas asphyxiation, but wanted to wait a few days before officially doing it. Kept the helium tank in my bedroom closet and started going to sleep in bed that first night. I remember waking up sometime during the night feeling incredibly light-headed and nauseous, and I went to the closet for a rag or something. I can't really remember. Didn't really feel like there was any air in the closet, and it made me realize that there may have been kind of leak on the tank that was spilling out into my bedroom. Didn't like how it was making me feel, and I was worried about developing cerebral hypoxia and surviving with permanent brain damage. So I emptied the tank outside and tossed it. Cerebral hypoxia and the risk of living with it scared me out of that method.
