Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I am so sure of when and how I'm going to CTB this year, and I absolutely need it to work when I want it to work. I do not want to survive at all. On the off chance that I do, I want to make a back up plan. I'm more filled with anxiety about failing and needing to try again than actually doing it.

For the record, I'm going to CTB with CO (charcoal) in a cabin far from my city in the countryside. I know there's a lot of moving parts to this and that there is definitely a chance I can fail, and I really don't want to, especially since I could get brain damage from this. I don't have access to a lot of painless options in my country. I spent basically anything I had left in my bank account for this, and I do not own a car or know how to drive. I want to make sure I do not make it back to the city, no matter what.

Does anyone have any advice (or I guess recommendations)?
Small correction, I do have money left over, but I do not want to get anything ridiculously expensive.

i don't know much about the CO method, unfortunately. but in terms of backup plans—and sorry this sounds blunt—you could always bring a rope and have hanging as an option? especially if you're alone in a cabin and the surrounding woods, with enough will i think that could be pulled off. hope you can stick with your main plan, though.

Idk what to tell you, but I would not feel comfortable proceeding with my plan A if I didn't have a plan B in my possession and ready to go, and that caused me to delay my plans, actually. My advice is get the "how" completely figured out first with two methods lined up, and then make the "when & where" plans after that.
