The suicide clinics have increased the recent years which can lead to a worldwide acceptance of euthanasia. Imagine the future: euthanasia worldwide. Humans will have the same right to die as our pets. You will be able to book an appointment with a doctor, get a syringe and die peacefully in the hospital. You do not have to be sick, disabled or in pain - euthanasia will be a human right for us all. You will only need to pay for a regular doctor´s visit. Funeral expenses will be payed by the municipality as usual. We will have the right to decide over our own lives. Every human being will have the right to decide how long he or she wants to live. Death and suicide will not be taboo. There will be no more human suffering. There will be no more human pain.

No more suicide discussions on the Internet will be needed.
No more suicide methods will be needed.
No more worrying about failed suicide attempts will be needed.
No more expensive travels to suicide clinics in Switzerland will be needed.

The man of the future will wonder how humans could be treated worse than our pets.
The man of the future will wonder how such injustices could occur.
The man of the future will wonder why humans were forced to live for years in meaningless suffering in a world where we all are going to die eventually.
The man of the future will wonder how humans could be so inhumane and stupid.

I believe that euthanasia will be a human right worldwide in the future - we who live now only have bad luck.

It literally is the thing that I want the most in the world to be euthanised. It should be a basic human right, as we didn't ask to be alive in the first place. I just don't want to have to do it myself honestly, too many things can go wrong. In a world as cruel as this suicide needs to be accepted as a rational option. It would make life more bearable knowing there was an peaceful way out. Unfortunately in the UK they won't even consider it for terminal patients at the moment.

No one knows what will happen in the future - everything will change as time goes on. It does not matter what any Homo sapiens think about it. But it seems like humanity is about to kill itself with pollution, overpopulation or nuclear war right now.

I think that what OP says makes sense,in the past we used to believe that homosexuality was a mental illness just because it goes against our instincts, but then we realized that our instincts aren't always correct, they are just irrational intuitions, and now we feel ashamed of how homosexuality was treated in the past.

Our survival instinct makes us want to believe that only the crazy ones could think about taking their own life, instead of recognizing that often can be a valid decision to objectively shitty situations, or even the meaningless of life itself.

That's how a humane world should be, a dignitas in every country. Even in Switzerland it takes months, even years and a lot of money and hoop jumping. British people can get arrested for even taking someone over there, how do they have the right to do that?? I get jealous of animals sometimes.

Ever since the beginning of civilization, people have fought for right and justice. Women fought for equal rights (right to vote) for more than 100 years. New Zealand became the first country where all women were allowed to vote in 1893. Then right to vote was gradually introduced around the world. The women´s fight to the right to vote continued into the 1990s in Switzerland. We are now in the same situation regarding human euthanasia. The suicide clinics are gradually increasing around the world. There will be legal right to die worldwide in the future. It is only a matter of time. The time we live in now will be considered cruel torture in the future. Those who are young may have time to wait out this law change, but it will be more difficult for the elderly.
