So I'm a transwoman and the entire system fucked me out of my human rights and my child. I have tried all the appropriate means to get my matter looked into and I'm being silenced.

Anyways. I was going to jump from a high bridge but I want to make a public spectacle to force people to look into my situation.

My kids are being neglected by their mother and no one cares to listen to me. They call me crazy and that I'm an abusive ex trying to make the mothers life hard. I've said my goodbyes.

My gf says im going crazy also so I told her if she's not going to be here when I need her then maybe she should just leave.

Anyways.

My plan is to take a 100ft cable wire tie it to the bridge entering the city put it around my neck and jump off.

If anyone could give me some pointers as to if the wire will hold.

I can go to home depot and get supplies if someone could give me a shopping list..

Also I'm going to put a sign around me with my note stapled under it. What's a good catch phrase I could write on it to really piss of the authorities?

I'm 186 pounds and it's a walk across bridge. I'd like to just push myself and it be over. At least for me consciously.

You don't think anyone will notice the wire secured off the side of the bridge overnight uintil the next day? IDK, maybe not. How are you planning on securing the cable around your neck; using those wire rope clamps? The ones you have to tighten with a wrench or socket? Will you have enough time to do all that before someone comes along? Using 1/4" cable gives you a WLL about 75% greater than using 3/16" cable. I think the weak link is going to be those cable clamps to secure the cable around your neck. Simply tying it is not going to work.

At your weight, and figuring for the cable length being about 90 ft, which allows for tying off on the bridge and wrapping around your neck, you should reach full extension in about 2.5 seconds at a speed of 52 miles per hour. I honestly do not know if that's enough to decapitate you or not, but I'd certainly bet on a broken neck.

If they call you crazy now, and you take a method as extreme as you're planning, I don't believe you'll be sending the message you think you're going to send. This will do nothing but confirm their past beliefs. If you were do it in a more "normal" way and leave detailed note as to why you've chosen to ctb, it will definitely make more of a statement than stapling a sign like "cowabunga" and yeeting yourself off a bridge with wire cable around your neck.

Not a good way to make people think you're sane. Likely gonna lose your head at such a height, not attract attention. Unless people are drawn towards a random cable hanging from a bridge that may or may not end up having your head. Your sign would likely be lost with your body.

Theoretically, such a thing would have to be done with the local news being alerted ahead of time.

You should rethink your plan. Pain sends a message, both emotional and physical. Try appealing to the public emotionally before you jump to physically.

Buddhists burn themselves alive in protest and it's only briefly mentioned, your idea is far less shocking. A 'crazy person' doing crazy things is forgotten, a group of people emotionally charged stays relevant for as long as they're charged.
