Help I’m ctbing tonight, how do I tell my friends goodbye without them knowing?

So I don't get off work until later but I'm so mentally tired and exhausted and ready to go. I have all my plans in place and I think my method will be effective. How do I tell my loved ones goodbye without alarming them? I'm so angry at so many people but it doesn't mean I don't love them. I just don't know if I should say nothing and continue my plan?

Do you want to personally say goodbye to them? When I thought I was ready to commit I just hugged my family a little tighter than usual before leaving thinking it would be the last time I see them. A lot of people write notes but I don't think a couple of words could justify my experiences and the grief I'm about to put them through. Just make sure you keep the note on you so your attempt doesn't get stopped in case they find it too soon. If you're looking for closure then it highly depends on your circumstances and you should do what feels right. You'll have all of eternity to be dead so don't rush it

I would spend time with them more and do something special than usual. So that their last memory of you is a good memory.

Just tell them that you loved them. They will know how much it really means when they realize that you said it in your darkest time.

You could put a short note in the mail to them not mentioning what you are about to do (ctb) but just one saying I love you or thank you for being a friend. I'm a big one on greeting cards that say nice things.

Just say everything you appreciate about them and they will just think you're being nice. I did it once before attempting and no one suspected anything. People are a lot more oblivious than you think

I decided not to do it. I started back on Prozac today and will just wait to die, hopefully natural death isn't too far away. Im terrified of another failed attempt and being on another psych hold.I doubt I'll ever be happy again but each day is 1 day closer to death, I'm patient waiting. Thanks everyone, that was great advice.

I have thought about this. With the holiday season approaching, it would not be out of line to send Christmas cards. So I have started writing them early this year. I hope to have them done in the next week or two. It is my hope that friends and family will have one good final memory of me.
