• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

If you knew for definite what happens after death would your decision to CTB be made easier?

Whether that be heaven/hell, reincarnation or nothingness.

For me it's the unknown that scares me what if it's worse than my current life.

While I have great faith that it will be non-existence after death which is what I want most, I do still have some doubt and wouldn't want it to be any of the other possibilities so if it was confirmed to me after death is nothingness I would want to try and kill myself now if I had an effective method.

I don't know if it'd be enough to give me the final push, but it would certainly make it an easier decision to make. I was raised a Christian and can't really shake the teaching that if you ctb, it's straight to hell for you, no matter what. Not so interested in replacing my finite suffering with eternal suffering.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

there's nothing that could be worse than this life.

but i know after my brain dies, it's non-existence forever which to me is the ultimate bliss. non-existence is as good as the worst pain, the worst torture , the worst hell nightmare in this horrible life is bad. why because there can never be any extreme suffering in non-existence forever .

i see life as imagine the worst nightmare hell the worst pain the most extreme torture .it's a trillion times worse than that

non-existence is the annihilation of hell , of unbearable pain , of extreme suffering and of extreme torture , non-existence forever is the only absolute perfection

Yes, it would be good to know for sure. It's not the main thing putting me off. That's more fear of failing the attempt and experiencing dying itself but, it's still there as an unknown concern.

I just believe death to be permanent non-existence, it's why ceasing to exist is the only relief for me and is all I see as positive, I'd be relieved to be free from this cruel, torturous existence where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel, I just want to be unconscious for all eternity. I'd always prefer to cease existing no matter what and if it's up to me I'd choose to not exist but of course I'm so cruelly denied the option to just never suffer ever again, I wish it is straightforward to be permanently free from this existence, I just want to fall asleep permanently.

Of course. The unknown has always frightened humans. At the same time, the humans who ultimately succeeded were the ones who went off into the dark, leaving the relative safety and known of the caves.

Whatever is on the other side, it will be a journey. An adventure, of a sort. If there is something else on the other side, and consciousness persists, well wouldn't that be amazing?

I say that, but I am no less afraid of the unknown, ha.
I don't know if it'd be enough to give me the final push, but it would certainly make it an easier decision to make. I get that. I was also raised Christian, but there's nothing in the bible--at least according to GPT and some cursory googling--that outright forbids ctb. It's never stated to be an outright sin. Not to mention God himself ordered an entire ethnic cleansing of Canaan and to not leave any women, children, or even animals alive. Not sure Judaeo-Christian God is necessarily caring too much about a lot of humans, regardless of what they do. The O.G. in the Old Testament didn't give AF. Not to mention what he did to poor Job, just to prove a point to the devil.

And if it is through Jesus that all sins are forgiven, well, if suicide is a sin--which the bible doesn't mention--then it is forgiven if you are a believer. Or in Baptist theology, if you have accepted Jesus into your heart and all that. And if you are a believer, you could just ask God and listen to what comes to you in like a meditative state. Whether or not you are or are not a believer, you can still listen to your own subconscious fears come to the surface of your mind through meditation. That could help you work through the fears--or realize you can't. Either way, good info. Might take a good 10-15 minutes of peaceful sitting without doing anything though. Or more and consistently. Or asking your subconscious before you go to bed to speak to you in your dreams (legit scientific shit/lucid dreaming and such).

This is a good question. I personally fear that we are part of an infinite cycle of consciousnesses that migrate from one living being to another. Some might think of reincarnation, but that is not what I mean. I just believe that if we were born once, it is very likely that this event will happen again, in a new life experience, a new consciousness that could be even worse than this one. In reality this possibility scares me a lot because statistically it is much more likely that a new event of consciousness will be born in a poorer part of the world, compared to more civilized countries like ours. So in reality this theory of mine makes me postpone the CTB, even knowing that there is no way out.

Fortunately for me, I know there is nothing after death (just like there was nothing before my birth). I do think CTB would be more difficult if I was concerned about something coming next versus just, nothing

i trust my gut about an afterlife. i'm not religious but i think there might be something. my own idea of life after death is enough for me.

I already accepted I'll be in hell. There's no escaping.

I mean, people already see me in a negative light so I see it is the case.
