This bitch of a psychiatrist I was forced to see a while back. I told her I had severe dissociative symptoms; that I couldn't function, could barely get out of bed, was constantly fatigued and dizzy, and felt totally out of it. She told me to get a job. This was after I said I had fainted several times during exertion etc. Some of these people really are deliberately obtuse.

For me it's a physician as well. The people you rely on most are often the ones to fully disappoint you. They give people weekly sick notes for a small cold or whatever but when people come with anxiety/depression you still have to go to work.

Honestly? I would like my "bf" to be in my shoes for a day. He is unsympathetic and thinks that all my issues are just in my head and that I can simply get over it. I have explained till Im blue in the face but he simply does not get it that I cant just magically over come the anxiety and depression from past traumas. Also my physical pain he doesnt take seriously.

For literally over 20 years my answer to this question would have been my ex. Then in addition to him, it would have been a few horrible, uncaring and condescending 'doctors' I've had for both my physical and mental health problems. But now I've reached a place where either it's just that I can't summon up the energy for that kind of anger and vengefulness, or (and I hope it's this but I honestly am not sure) that I've reached a place where I don't feel right wishing the kind of hellish life I've experienced on another person. (Although let me be clear: I understand and completely relate to everyone who has posted and said who they would wish their situation on, because I felt that way longer than I haven't and I wouldn't claim that my thoughts now are because I'm a kind person or anything pure like that. I think maybe I've just become so drained by pain, both mental and physical, that there's nothing left in me emotionally that I can generate caring enough to wish this suffering on anybody else. All I dream about now is an absence of suffering, period.
