What if using video games and virtual reality as a treatment and not as entertainment only?
I have tried different treatments for chronic endogenous depression and anxiety and accidentally discovered that the only thing that personally helps me is video games and virtual reality. I have dreamed of dying all my life but i not able to finish it all, I am pathetic coward and loser and drugs only make things worse and cause suffering. Psychiatry cannot treat people like me but still wants me to pay money on this drugs all my life. Funny that for example barbiturates like N used to be sleeping pills (and they were advertised), but now this is highly restricted drugs.
I haven't felt anything for decades, since the early childhood (including pleasure from something or some kind of emotion), I feel already dead and slowly decaying but video games help me some kind to turn off my mind, not cure of course - but how to cheat, hack this system, emulate other worlds and situations, like escape into a different reality. I don't just play video games - I live in them, I play 13-15 hours a day, despite physical pain and discomfort. Yes it is not normal but for me incomparably better than drugs and psychiatric system which is a disaster. It is a pity that I have almost no money to buy all this electronics
