Discussion If God had a suggestion box, what would you ask for?

From all I read in this forum, all I lived in my life, blaming god for everything is very common to see.

So.... you died, you're in front of him, and knowing all about what is going on in the world, what do you change in humanity to solve the problems?

Remember that it's a chance, once done, "he" cannot interfere with physical plane.

Mine is:
Remove pleasure from sex, only people that trully love each other will feel pleasure.
I think love can change the world.

I get that purpose is something we're supposed to discover, and beauty and meaning are things we're supposed to create. And you don't want to interfere with that. I get it. Really, I do. If I was a creator, I'd want my creations to discover the world and everything good and wonderful in it for themselves as well, and I certainly wouldn't want to spoil things for them.

But people are lost. When you're here, when you're a human being living through this, it isn't just some adventure that you ultimately come home from and tell all your friends all about what you saw and what you learned. This is our lives. And a lot of us, we have no idea what we're supposed to be doing, or what the point of it all is.

I'm not saying we need clear instructions. You don't need to write a manual, 'do this, be that', etc etc. But some indication of what you want from us, the reason we're here on this earth, beyond the words written in some book by human hands that just want to control us, something we can feel and understand as a fundamental part of our being, it'd really go a long way to helping a lot of us at least figure out how to get started.

Also this is probably just me but if pleasure from anything sexually was removed, my life would be much worse as I rely on that as a way to cope.

lol nice question - I'm a believer so have some understanding / faith in the merging of pain & suffering but still cant accept this - is this it. If im not meant to be a St & saints transended this concept & activley praised God when suffering - whats the point would be my question?

I'd ask him why the fuck so many people believe so many different things about him, and to just clarify which belief is correct. Because, at the end of the day, differences between religion have been a cause of a lot of the world's problems.

Hmm. This is a difficult one.
I do understand why God gave us free will and with good and bad it's the only way our universe can be 'balanced' or whatever and I do believe sad things do exist as part of the human experience for us to grow and be better as people going forward
But my God, it's so hard. I do wish everyone were designed like robots in which everything is happy all the time, yeah it would suck not having the autonomy to do 'bad' things but at least things like war wouldn't exist I guess.
I don't know. My brain feels like it's gonna explode tbh lol

If we are all made in the image of God that is one complicated, fucked up entity. Sometimes I like to think we all chose to come to this realm for some reason but have no memory of why or what we are outside of it while we're in here. Maybe it's to understand ourselves from a perspective we can only get this way. Funny thought but it's ultimately hard to believe anything happens after death besides eternal nonbeing and I'm perfectly comfortable with that. I would say thanks for the trip but I think I've seen enough and suggest the option to leave peacefully. Although if I unquestionably knew I was actually submitting a suggestion to God and that aspect of reality was no longer theoretical it's hard to imagine how my attitude might change considering the existential answers that could offer
