i have a hard time feeling comfortable outside the house but for like the next month i really need something to occupy me. i dont have any real money to blow so it just has to be either like, volunteering ideas or like some crafty thing i don't have to spend toooo much money on. just something to fill up my time that isn't entirely useless

One time when I was laid off I used to take the bus downtown to the library and read the out of town newspapers, read cookbooks looking for recipes, and researching areas of interest. I suppose this can all be done on the Internet today, but it was almost a full time occupation back then. It also served to keep me busy. I once heard someone say, "Make a job out of finding a job". It was helpful for me to maintain an almost work schedule.

Given the time of year, you might offer to rake l;eaves in the yard of elderly people in your neighborhood.

You might call smaller churches and see if they need help of any sort.
