I will ctb in the next few days and I want someone to document it over Skype. This isn't just about me contributing to this community but also about me not feeling lonely while I ctb. Are there any volunteers?

Hello, knowing me that I can simply oversleep, I would not suggest my candidature. What time (and timezone) are you planning to CTB?
Definitely consider privacy and what happens if (it probably will be fine but still) it doesn't work.
Maybe film the thing with instructions for someone trustworthy, that's what I'd do, but theres so few who can be so trusted

I think personally asking to an old member is more reliable. When are you going to ctb?
Hard to know if there's a legal liability when it comes to this sort of thing.

I agree . Old members . Trust worthy , accompanied and comforted many (on their ctb/goobye and otherwise) -- and can withstand experience
Probably exists , but not enough to pursue , especially if across countries , and with private secure apps .
Probably worst option . We don't know what will happen to video . Even if the watcher has good intentions . Best to video chat without recording and leaving evidence ...
We've tried to discuss the options of documenting things several times in recent months , and it hasn't yielded much , sadly . People were very reluctant .
I hope this will develop. Not for "members will know" or "gather more information" -- it is a comfort for the dying person . There is someone with them . And their death is not in vain .
I would be willing to do that but can't (not alone; health/sleep issues)

Very good points, after some thought I think it's more likely the police would take the recording, then the person would either have to physically be there or capturing a stream. So video-chatting with someone would be a lot better, it could be done with encryption and as you said it's unlikely they would follow it up internationally. I'm picturing an app that pairs you with someone you know and trust from here lol, would make it a lot easier but I doubt the app store will host it!I agree . Old members .
