I need help with crypto so I can buy N. from D. Binance requires that I have an Australian passport to register to buy crypto, but I don't have a passport. So does anyone have help/advice here? So frustrating. D. accepts Monero and Bitcoin only apparently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't recommend posting that kind of thing around here. It is very easy to be defrauded with cryptocurrencies.

Kucoin is the one I use. If I can use it from Latin America I guess you can use it from anywhere.

You can buy crypto from people in person via Craigslist or similar platforms. Most legitimate sellers will meet you in a public place like a bank and may provide a writen contranct for you to sign. They will sometimes transfer the currency before taking the cash from you. It is a service that comes at a premium though. I'll echo @edukali 's warning. Be careful!

It may be better to do a quick search of local bitcoin atms. They're around. Depending on where you live there could be loads. They also cost a bit more but are easier and safer than the other option.

Never pay anything on Paxful with Paypal. Either you will be scammed by the friends and family option, or the scammers will pull the charge not authorized card. That platform is packed with scammers to the rafters. If you are a newbie in crypto, it's very likely, you will be scammed.

Just get someone else to dig the crypto part for you. Ivdid my research. Not all N vendors are scams that aren't in PPH. I got vouches, feedback, lab reports, pictures before committing to anything. My vendor took care of all the crypto stuff I just paid by bank transfer. It was simple I now have my N.
If it was a scam I'd be back on here next week as I depend on ss community for support. Only thing that's kept me going other than dealing with my vendor.
But I won't be begging to come back as I'll be dead by the time the week is out.
Just look up my posts it's obvious how physically ill i am & desperate to ctb.
But I know things too. I did my homework.
I've been a mod on drug forums, an addictions worker in a job. I have my own way of dissing out scams from the real deal.
It's been nice being part of the as community. I've had lots of support & advice & hopefully helped a few others along the way.

This is what I am worried about. I would actually pay someone to navigate the crypto for me. Trying to find someone IRL who can do this for some. But that arouses suspicion too!

Hi, I've used the website twice or thrice you basically choose however you want to buy btc. For example I bought btc with steam card. So I searched steam card and found a seller. Then I sent him the details and he released the btc to my wallet in paxful then I got it sent to my Blockchain wallet.

Also I would refrain from using PayPal.

Well most sellers ask for ID if you wanna do PayPal. I didn't wanted to expose my identity. I'm paranoid af I guess for me the gift cards were the most secure way.

Another way to purchase btc is through binance. I don't really know much about purchasing BTC on binance. Maybe someone here can help

I happen to have a small amount of BTC. I signed up to Binance many months ago. The process involved having to submit some personal ID (possibly a driver's license) and have my phone take a selfie for verification.

But I find 95% of the website completely alien. I worked out how to buy various currencies using a credit card, but never worked out how to withdraw and don't know how to send anything to other people. Guess I'll have to figure it out.

SUCCESS! I just bought crypto using Localmonero.

It was a bit hair raising; I had to buy vouchers and then use then trade them for BitCoin; I would avoid that and just straight Paypal cos of course I had to verify my new account on the place. So I spent $1,500.00 for potentially useless vouchers; my first trade failed cos I had to verify my new account at the place I bought the vouchers.
