Method I must not have carotid arteries or something...

I'm waiting on my SN to arrive but have been getting seriously impatient and my suicidal thoughts are through the roof. I read about the 'night night' method a while ago and tried to find my carotid arteries with no luck. I've been trying again so much over the last few days that my neck is killing me at the moment. I just can't find them. I tried with my fingers and sides of my hands over and over and over again with no luck and even tied some belts and cables and towels around my neck to see if I could get the feeling of blacking out. But nothing. I pushed my fingers into multiple spots on the sides of my neck for over 30 seconds each time and nothing. I did manage to get the feeling of my head about to burst but that's it. When I try a towel or belt I end up hurting my Adams apple and feel like I'm choking on spit. I took a round electrical cable and synched it as tight as I could around my neck but that just made me choke and now my neck is hurting. If the SN doesn't arrive soon I'm probably just going to slice my wrists open.

I can relate to that. I've been trying to find my carotid arteries too and so far no luck
If I may advise you, it's better to wait for your SN. Cutting your wrists wouldn't work and it would hurt like hell

did you try right under your Adam's apple? i tried different spots, the only two that worked for me once were 1. right under jaw, near trachea. 2. under Adam's apple, it depends on your neck. it can be two fingers away or less.

For me I found my carotid arteries where my jaw bone changes its angle. I can feel a throbbing there, and if I press hard enough, in a few seconds my vision goes dark. I've never made myself black out though.

I've managed to find the spot under my jaw like the other person said, no passing out yet but I can get the head feeling abd darkening vision, and last time I tried my lips went numb.

It might be easier practicing with the cornhole bags, but I don't trust my reactions enough to try the tree ratchet until I'm ready.
