Mining for copium in the weirdest places.

I met this guy tonight that looked obviously ravaged by life but not completely destroyed. We took some alcohol and after I communicated freely my usage of SaSu he confided that during the darkest time of his life he used it to research methods and almost did it.

I liked him but he had a misconception or defense mechanism regarding suicide, because he insisted that people that kill themselves are 'psychotic' or delusional, but I countered by proposing the real life example of someone that suffered severe CFS 30 years and then ended their life.

Anyway, he was an interesting person like people in here tend to be. I think as a demographic we are more sensitive and deeper on average.

He also said that because I have a supportive family it's less likely I will eventually do it. I agree. Complete solitude would kill me very quickly. I feel for those that are in that position, is the hardest one.

Ya I've talked with people like that on here. A lot of users just browse but have never actually planned or intended on committing suicide, then they pass judgment onto others, it's weird. :notsure:

They need to do that to put it all behind. It's a way to distance yourself from a threat.

Yep, coping mechanism. I also told myself that in 2013 after my 1st attempt and now look who's back in a suicide forum lol.
