I guess I'm a bit evil. I know there are a lot of good people and I love my family. But the idea of extinction brings me peace. I hate human race with passion, it feels like we are at the same time the smartest and dumbest animal on earth. We have advanced brains, but we mostly use them just to morality justify our worst instincts. We constantly need to compare and judge each other, put each others down and create arbitrary hierarchies, meanwhile the people that get into power are usually by far the most evil portion of population. We are ruining the planet for all other animals, because of our grees. Not to mention we are the only animal with ego, therefore we suffer more.

I'm just so disillusioned, I don't feel it would be bad if it ended. The only justification for preserving humanity is if we manage to evolve into something better, but so far it seems we are starting to degenerate instead.

I dont hate humans particularly but competetive nature itself we designed this way because it helped us to survive
Being evil is very beneficial but if everyone was evil we would not build society
We ruining life for other animals because we love meat and efficiancy
I dont see any problem killing animals in wild becuaze their life is already hell but breeding dozens animals just to exploit them for things like cheese or hamburger is fucked up and I am not telling that everyone should go vegan because we ate meat for a very long time of history, there is a problem that vegans get ridiculed but I think they deserve respect for attempt to make world better place
Hiearchy is present in other species as well

I would even say on a fundamental level, that there cannot be a tragedy without someone to experience grief. If all of humanity disintegrated in an instant, how can something so subjective as a "tragedy" be said to have taken place?
Ofc this starts getting into the darkest of nihilism a la schopenhauer. It reminds me of the line "the suffering of the devoured always outweighs the pleasure of the devourer", originally meaning that the existence of life requires a preponderance of suffering, and therefore it could be said that the overall wellbeing of all living things would be maximized only when there are no living things.
In my mind, it could be expanded to say that "the suffering of the exploited always outweighs the pleasure of the exploiter", which I think rings pretty true (ask: why are bezos and musk divorcing and estranging themselves from their children? Has the unfathomable luxury and wealth actually seemed to make them any happier than the rest of us?) We toil and struggle and work towards "something better", but we either live in anarchy, most likely in overwhelming barbaric violence, starvation and disease (though ig is its own whole field that people believe but i haven't rly been able to figure out why); or we organize into societies, which necessarily depend on hierarchies (someone has to lead, enforce laws, coordinate, instead of doing the actual drudging), which again will depend on some exploitation.
Yeah idk kinda my incoherent way of saying I agree, and I don't even really think it would be a tragedy.
