I don't know if it's the rush of all the job interviews I had last week, if it's the meds or the fact that I'll be having my professional exam (idk that's how we call it in my country, it's to receive our actual tangible university degree) but I've been feeling less suicidal lately. When I think about killing myself I'm like, that's so last year, you already did that, you already felt that way and you didn't killed yourself, you're definitely not going to do it now ffs.

This forum has also helped a lot. More than my psychologist I believe. I haven't seen her in quite a while I don't think I'm coming back.

I'm still a little jealous of healthy sane people though. I was watching a Jennifer Lawrence interview the other day. She's never gonna have to worry about depression or anything like that. It sucks. I mean good for her, but I wish our government/healthcare/economic system was designed for everyone to feel the way she feels. This is an unjust society in an unjust world in a cold indifferent universe, I get that.

I hope y'all have a lovely weekend

I wouldn't be too jealous of people you see in the media. It's pretty easy to act like you're happy and put together on camera. Lots of celebrities that seem to have happy lives because they're wealthy and successful have committed suicide.

I'm really happy for you that you're feeling better. Wishing you the best of luck for the job hunting and the exam.

Hey, I'm glad to hear you're doing better. This website can be so therapeutic because you're talking to people who you know truly understand. A therapist generally cannot really show whether or not they can relate to suicidality due to ethical reasons, but it really causes me to feel disconnected from them.

I do want to say one thing though... while rich people like Jennifer Lawerence are more lucky because they have a better chance of receiving proper treatment, they aren't immune to depression. Unfortunately, depression doesn't discriminate and can affect anyone - no matter what their life circumstances or socioeconomic status are.

I hope you have a lovely weekend too, mate.
