You can't really be "convinced" out of a delusion in my experience. Even if someone were to explain the technicalities of why time travel isn't possible (of which there are many), you'd likely just do some mental gymnastics to make whatever new information you were given fit in with your pre-constructed narrative. Like I said, this is from personal experience with some fairly unconventional beliefs of mine that I still hold, mainly because of the mental gymnastics I do to keep believing in them in spite of the "evidence."
Anyways, one of the biggest arguments I've heard against the possibility of time travel is that the planet is always moving. Think about it: even if you were to somehow go "back in time," you'd end up in a random empty area in space because Earth would no longer be in the same spot it was at that point in time. Is the power of time travel going to override the laws of gravity and make everything spin back to where it was? Pretty sure I'm butchering the explanation, and the video I watched did a much better job debunking it, but you get the idea.
In any case, I think, deep down, you already know this delusion is just that; a delusion, especially seeing as to how you're already self-aware enough to call it what it is. I don't think you need to be convinced of anything. The world is the way it is now—however strongly you feel about AI, you're not the savior of humanity. AI isn't even humanity's biggest issue right now. In fact, on the list of biggest issues, I wouldn't even say it makes top 10. So even if you were going to save the world from something, maybe choose war, poverty, corrupt government, etc. instead? I'm joking, but you see what I'm saying.
By the way, as a once heavy-ish user of DXM, I understand how strong it can be. You might want to ease up a bit if it's starting to deteriorate your mind. Anyway, best of luck to you! <3
