Discussion I have been having these brief flashes of De Ja Vu / nostalgic feelings of places I may have been to in a previous life , but as the same person

I have been having these brief flashes for quite a few years and once I get the thought or feeling , I can think about them again easily

I have had this strange thing of feeling familiarity in certain places ( like seeing a building or an area and getting nostalgic feelings of a previous life or world from them , even though I may have never seen the buildings or been to the area before )

I will try to describe one of the places or memories to the best of my ability :

I have some sort of a memory of being in a previous life , as the same person I am now , where I was in a large English style wooded or forested area . It is not the same world as this , but a parallel world if you like , but where situations are better and the people are much better natured than in this world . I am there studying with a school and the school seems to be a type where the kids stay in like a summer long campus in the forested area . The place is pleasant and warm feeling
and the forest is full of life , not just physically , but mentally and spiritually . There are many places to explore and in the center there are big spacious grassy openings surrounded with huge oak trees with these modern glass structures built in to them , kind of like giant ( mostly glass ) tree houses . These structures house work shops and class rooms in them

There are some tudor and saxon type buildings also in the fields and in the forest , scattered about , castle and other medieval type ruins . One strong memory or feeling I have is of a abandoned old moss and vine covered green house like work shop with old school desks inside


There are places I go to in my day to day life that some times brings these flashes of memories . One such place is the Walthamstow Marshes here in London , and another one is some places in Green wich , Alperton , the Elephant and Castle , and a few other places

I read in a article that one type of previous life experiences involve places that remind people of places they may have been to

I have tried to think back to my child hood and remember places or situations I may have been in that could be the root of these De Ja Vu type memories and I can not think of any thing

Is it possible that some residue memories of a previous life remains in my soul , if souls exist ? What causes these memories ? Whether it was in this world as a child ( which is highly un-likely } or it was a previous life , I just know I have been in that place I think of


Have any of you guys had any similar experiences ?

Here are some pictures of some of the places that inspire some of the De Ja Vu type / previous life ' memories '

The tudor houses / Wind mill / Victorian wagon and the wood latticed building we're taken in the Weald and Down load open air museum in Chichester and the shrubbery , trees , park and lake / pipes and canal pictures were taken at the Walthamstow Marshes and Walthamstow Wet lands here in Greater London


They are random and I very much doubt any one here will get it , but I wanted to try and reach out with this

Although I have no relation to London specifically, I get the phenomenon. I get déjà vu at least once a day, at all the distant places I go, and it evokes the strangest emotions.

If you like the parallel worlds theory, you deffo gotta watch a spanish tv show (I think it's on Netflix) called : "If I hadn't met her. " (Si no la hubiera conocido).

As for the experiences you'had, it's happened to me many times. For instance, I had never played ping pong before but I knew I was really good at it. Then, one day I played and my friends were amazed because I even got some rules and moves by instinct! I'm sure I must've been a pro or close to a table tennis player in a parallel world lol

@Now_And_Then I think it has something to do with how memory and the senses work and it's not a previous life or anything. We know that both memory and sensory related anomalies exist and they involve our physiology so rest assured it would make much more sense if it were related to that type of thing than if it were related to everything that we have never identified and could only conjure speculations about.

A lot of those photos have long lines.

I remember reading a theory about deja vu suggesting it had something to do with the occasional discrepancy in transmission time between eyes (my wording). There are a lot of feelings that we experience and it stays with us but its origins are forgotten. I suspect there could be social psychological phenomena. I find these avenues towards explanation far more reasonable than living multiple lives and other things like it.

I interpreted the part of your post regarding the pictures to mean that those places are where the world grows thin and you can be between worlds, but visually, many of them have very long lines. It wouldn't surprise me if subtle reception of certain geometric shapes and range of view could trigger a visual-memory imprint or response of some sort.

Not exactly this but... I'm been having lots of lucid dreams which feel more real than this reality. Does that make any sense?

Anyway, I'm really skeptical but these might be some kind of messages from somewhere?

I've had triple and possibly quadruple deja vu experiences (not joking). "Oh right, I had this same deja vu twice/thrice before". Doesn't affect me but I suppose it can indicate brain damage

When I was a teenager I used to have lots of dejavu but didn't thought about previous life. Later I seldom have them...
I love the photos you took of the places that recalls nostalgic feelings. It seems to be a great idea to keep a record-- you might create your own "memory map"!
They remind me of another feeling, though I'm not sure if it's relevant here. Sometimes when I look at random things (ordinary buildings, a corner of a street, etc.), I feel that they attract my attention for no reason. But if I take photo of them, once they're captured in small picture frame on phone, taken off from immediate surroundings, I would feel as if they become "memory clips", and begin to convey a nostalgic sense of the past that I've lost..
