I hate the spring and summer.

Summer is too hot for me. I have started to like spring, though, since I am an adult. I can close the curtains and pretend the weather was not so nice, but when I actually have to go outside, it is not as bad as in summer or winter.

Same. It's depressing enough to see everything blossom when nothing inside your head is moving for the better.
When people on the streets (of which there are more) become joyful and more viable/active due to the fact that daylight is rapidly increasing (i live in the north) so that their pituitary gland begins to produce less melatonin from serotonin, i see even more in contrast how far i am from them, what a gap between us. This makes envy their ability to be happy and do something. There appears fewer excuses in my head for my miserable existence when everything is getting better for everyone around

Spring is the time most people attempt to ctb as everything is coming alive as we are still dying inside. My depression gets worse in Spring.
I want to ctb on May 2nd,the anniversary of my brothers death.
I hate summer as it makes my physical symptoms worse.

I think rain is calming but it messes up my walking schedule. Summer is the worst because I see a bunch of people having the times of their lives and I feel so alone. I do outings on the summer but it's always just me and maybe 1 or 2 other people... I feel so excluded man.

yeah, it sucks, especially if you are not up to engaging with it all out there. I did go on a few decent trips last summer like my visit to London, The Scottish Highlands and a local country park. But I have no energy at all this year and tbh, I just want to catch that one way ticket bus now.

'April is the cruellest month' as TS Eliot wrote. The suicide rate for real is highest at this time of year. I despise nature and its tyranny of growth/cycle of birth and death! Nature is fucking disgusting! It should be called Bitch Nature, there's nothing motherly about it. And yeah we have to tolerate the excited normies planning their picnics and BBQs, roasting themselves in the parks and generally acting like sweltering heat is something to celebrate? The forecasters talking about 'glorious sunshine' when it's really just suffocating heat! Let's all enjoy having frayed tempers, panic attacks, struggling to breathe and worsened mental health! Whatever! Haha just venting really but yeah I do for real fucking hate spring and summer and yearn for it all to be over, when blessed September/October roll around.

I guess it depends where you live. In a lot of places spring/summer can be too hot. In Ireland where I live in spring is still pretty cold. Our summer averages only around 18 degrees celsuis/ 64 degrees farenheit during July and August. We have occasional heatwaves where it can reach 30 degrees celsius/86 farenheit. Most of the time it is cloudy and about 60-70% of the time it rains. But I love the summer because we get 18 hours of daylight. It gets light at 4am and the sun doesnt set until 10pm. So I love it!
