I hate Reddit for so many reasons. I hate that it seems like if I were to post in Suicidewatch about SS I would be banned, as well as if I posted about sn. I hate all the pro-life trolls who fuck up posts with their shitty narssisstic life advice and can't handle anyone questioning or telling them their view is triggering and shitty.

I hate Unemployed on Reddit because it really highlights how fucked everything is. I hate that there are so many people who just say 'you got this' and don't offer anything as far as relating to despair.

I hate the gore sub and the other one that shows horrible shit...and lots of seemingly illegal pictures (crime scenes aren't suppossed to be fucking put on a gore site). I hate stupid people that argue with my view that it's weird that crime scenes and morgue pictures are sketchy and shitty...unethical. I hate having a collection of hellish horrifying images stuck in my memory.

I hate getting banned from subs that are heavily censored based on opinion. I hate bully females who call males on certain subs incels. I hate mods tracking chat and banning about stupid PC shit. I was literally once banned for posting just saying that I was not crazy...I can't remember but it was a benign post.

I hate that they are so strict about certain things but have subs called Rape Fantasies. The gore site is fucking disgusting.

I hate that I can not ever post or comment without getting so pissed at the responses I delete. I've run into some majorly delusional assholes. Just today. But whatever.

I hate that I have to hide being on SS from my bf like it's porn. He has said this...and hates me on it, but whatever.

I hate running across super rich young people bragging about their new house or that they flew from LA to NYC for a day to eat pizza.

What I hate more than this: is Family Guy is literally on every single evening. It's not even 6 and it's on. I have seen the same episodes 3 times now in the past 2 years that I have been with my bf. Of course he has a huge TV; he has 4. American Dad, Cleveland Show...etc etc. all extremely satanic and only full of triggers.

FUCK this shit. My mom couldn't handle an episode of the shit I am forced to endure. And no- I have no where else to go. Literally.

I've only known about Reddit since I guess September. I've met a few nice people. For that it can be good. But overall it's a bag of dicks.

I don't understand why people post naked pictures of themselves- they are not getting money. There's even a sub about people who want/have cut their dicks off.

I guess i will stop this rant now. I could of course go on and on. I think they have 400 employees...ummmm for what?

Do you hate Reddit? If you want to explain why go ahead.

Hmm, suppose you could just search for a topic you like and find new forums idk?
So say you like drawing, then just google drawing forums.
Hopefully you can find like minded people on topics you like.

You could research random stuff your passionate about and further your knowledge on said subject?

Try get into reading?

(I don't take my own advice, I'm forever sat watching films/series wasting days away, but since my attention span in terrible I watch stuff ay x2 speed lol

The problem is I don't like anything. I say I will stop looking at gore and then I do it. I seek out the horrors of the world I guess to not feel so bad. I'm not passionate about anything. I hate reading too except I will read about serial killers and sad stories.

It's good you can watch films and series. I can't handle it. It really limits what I can do besides smoke cigs and go on Reddit or SS.

Yeah it's really censored. They delete posts and lock comments often. It's not a safe place and it's sad people use it and get such shitty responses. I can appreciate that it's more biographical and specific on why people are so upset and pissed, but I hate that there are so many trolls and it's so censored. I literally only found out about ss because someone on Suicidewatch randomly messaged me tellling me about sn and I told my Reddit pal and then he found SS.

It's shady. Their subs are disgusting, but some are so censored.

I dont really mind the censoring on r/suicidewatch and reddit in general but what i absolutely hate is the double standards of it all. Ive seen way worse than my post not get removed on r/suicidewatch and it makes no sense in my opinion to even censor so hard when you have subreddits like r/eyeblech and r/crimescene where you can literally watch someone die or look at dead bodies lmao.

I don't understand...are many many cops posting the gore pictures on the Internet? I haven't seen crimescene, but I look at eyeblech and morbid reality. Shit is disgusting. I agree. Suicidewatch is sad. One can't say shit on there.

Me too. Reddit really is a microcosm of the shittiest aspects of humanity. You can spend 30 minutes on there and find many reasons to catch the bus. It just reminds me how much I don't belong here and how I never will. I don't want to belong here. I don't want to bend my will to the masses. I want to die.
I remember my post got removed from r/suicidewatch for implying that euthanasia should be given to anybody who wants it over the age of 18.
Sounds about right. Fuckers. That's why 99.9% of the posts have no replies. You, coming from the same place, cannot have a heart-to-heart because you'll get banned.

I hope I can provide some sense of context for gore consumers... I don't think I can really speak for those that watch people die though. With gore, it might be akin to surgery, seeing how bodies are affected by certain situations can be fascinating, and maybe stimulate the mind in the same way watching tv might for someone else. I like watching operations and the like because human anatomy is quite alluring to me... and murder shows that explain what a person's methods of insanity were. It offers insight on stuff most lack.

Not defending it at all, just hope this could explain why others do it. :ahhha:

Yeah, I can see the various reasons why one would choose to look at gore. Sadly the shit I look at is not just surgeries but really gross dark shit. I don't purposely seek it out it's just on a popular sub. I think overall it's truly a revolting thing to seek out. It's very creepy the distribution of crime scene photos etc etc. I think it causes more damage than just pure entertainment. The shit they show is absolutely disgusting, violent and sad. I really want to stop looking at it.

I read something about how when suicidal people look at gore it's like they are desensatizing themselves to what is to come. They see bad shit and it validates that lots of people exit the world...etc etc.

I wish they would ban it...gore...it's disgusting especially the people who are the ones taking the pictures and then putting it out there.

I accidentally clicked a link once to a snuff film of this guy blasting his head off with a shotgun. He was running from the police. The footage was really grainy so you couldn't see much, but it really shocked me that someone would casually link something like that with no warning. We live in a fucked up world full of fucked up people.

I know. I watched a few videos on the sub on Reddit of actual murders etc etc. It's crazy how they censor Suicidewatch and some of the 'feel good psychology subs" but don't give a fuck about gore or gross sexually violent fantasy subs. It's a pile of shit.

Omg I know. It's extremely easy to get pissed. I hate it when I click on people who piss me off and then delve into all their shitty posts and comments. One dude said he felt like eating NYC pizza so flew from LA to NYC just for the day. MOTHERFUCKERS I hate. The animal shit is horrible. I wish I could share this with my bf but no fucking way. I do tell him some fucked up stories (crime and nature shit) I read about. I'd like to find positive things to share...but I just don't fucking see any.

I know the exact sub you are talking about, with all the crime scene documents and photos. I can't believe that they allow it to be featured on the front page almost daily.

It is absolutely vile that reddit bans suicidal people from venting, strikes down subreddits that go against consumeristic, advertiser friendly dogmas (such as Suicidology for scientific and sociology based discussions around suicide) and fosters a system where anyone who goes against majority consensus has their posts hidden and removed.

That website is nothing but a circle jerk for middle class, middle age, cubicle drone normies who want to reinforce their pre-existing beliefs and shut down anyone who disagrees with them.

I don't hate Reddit as a whole but I also haven't been on like any of the subs you've mentioned except I think I've checked r/SuicideWatch once. But I think it's mostly depended on the subs you choose to visit, most of the subs I'm on are for like Shows I like. Which I know is meaningless for OP but like most of those communities have been fine.

The only thing I don't really like about Reddit is the downvote=disagree mentality a lot of users have. I get why people do it but it feels counter-intuitive to discussion which Reddit is supposedly about, right? And I upvote=agree a lot because my position's already summarized. There's no reason for me to clog the thread with same answer or to respond to that comment with "Agree", it doesn't add anything. Whereas with downvoting=disagree, there's inherently a conversation to be had. If a Reddit thread was what's your favourite season of a show, and the only post was Season 4 and I hated Season 4, I wouldn't downvote it, I would either got wrote Season 3 is my favourite or I might ask why is Season 4 your favourite if they don't explain. I do prefer people who downvote and then comment their disagreement (which rarely happens) but even then, downvote is just redundant because the comments expresses the disagreement.

And I know Reddit is technically, or at least in practice, more about gaining a consensus on a topic from like a specific community, but upvotes alone would calculate that, downvoting isn't really necessary to achieve. The point of downvoting, imo, should be to bury like hateful, negative, maybe trolling comments that don't really have any place in a community. I've been on reddit for like over four years and I've never downvoted because those hateful comments are usually buried so job's done there, no need to pile on, and I don't see the value of downvoting simply for a difference of opinion.

People are allowed to downvote how they want, it ultimately doesn't really matter that much, but it always feels like a needlessly negative act, which I myself can't imagine the benefit of engaging with.

Reddit proves the soyboy/npc meme right. It's all 20-something people who watch the same movies, quote the same shit, laugh at the same jokes, have the same political opinions, etc., and they get irrationally angry when they encounter something different.
For a group of people who claim to love diversity, they pretty much all sound like clones of each other.

This is practically the only place left where suicide can be discussed rationally.

I agree. I think some of the turds on Reddit are pretty young and stupid though...not just middle age....there's an incredible entitlement people have...they want praise for their shitty advice and suggestions.

I totally agree. I am currently being downvoted for something completely rational and correct. I think it's called a 'woke' response people are doing....downvoting feels like a sort of bullying. Consider yourself fortunate to not have been on the subs I was mentioning.

That right here doesn't make sense.

You hate Reddit for being censorious of things you want to talk about but then you hate it for allowing things you personally don't like.

You don't like gore, don't visit gore related subs. You don't have a rape kink, don't visit the sub that's dedicated to it. And if you believe that these subs or people who use them are somehow evil, then well, think again. I think Reddit is an awful site too, but the fact it still allows some freedom of speech and expression is definitely not one of them.

I relate to the family guy bit. I lived with a roommate that blasted those shitty cartoons every evening. I came to HATE the voice of Steve from American Dad, that high pitched fucking voice just destroying my ears. In a way I must thank this roommate, because this was the time period I got into white noise and it has helped me retain sanity.

I would break up with a guy who watched those cartoons on a daily basis. I do like the golden era of the simpsons though.

Reddit is the worst place I came across, I met someone on there that traumatized me. But that place is really full of people further proving what humanity is actual like. They love to make a miserable person be more miserable cause they got nothing else to do in their shit lives, they get all their pleasure and happiness from hurting people even more than they're hurt already. The amount of toxic optimism is outrageous. Likewise with their treatment to suicidal people. They brigaded r/Promortalism once after a teenager posted for suicide methods without knowing it's against site rules. The chimps ganged up and bullied suicidal people and people from that sub calling all kinds of names and posting hateful memes. The site is full of college aged rich western kids who think that communism is cool and masturbate on photos of stalin and mao and disregarding the experiences of those who ACTUALLY lived through communism and saw it for what it actually is: a genocidal ideology, a shitshow of torture and violence. But there are also some who are simply proud of supporting the most sickening ideology and saying that ''Ukrainians and Poles deserved it''. They have absolutely no self awareness, no empathy, no compassion, no intelligence (even if acting as if they're intelligent is their favorite pastime), they're brutes. Most like to hate on women and blame them for the problems they have. Like no bro, it's not the half of the world's population that you never met the problem, but simply your shitty, rotten personality. There's it. But what can you expect from the people who think that the apache helicopter ''joke'' is funny.

In conclusion, never go to that site if you want to protect your neurons and mental health and if you want to remain sane. NEVER, NEVER seek help or advice on there. I speak from my 6 years experience of being on there.
