Venting I hate islam

I always wonder how the fuck do people believe in this piece of crap religion, and worse yet, why are a lot of people outside of it are accepting of it when it should be condemned, banned ,whatever...
It's a religion whose founder is an "insert every single horrible thing".

-This fucking piece of shit permits raping little kids, and did rape one himself.
-He permits marital rape, since if a woman doesn't consent to sex with her husband if she doesn't feel like it then she gets emotionally blackmailed into thinking that angels will curse her if she doesn't comply.
-He permits slavery, and consequently raping slave girls which are either bought or taken from wars.
- He commands people to kill apostates.
-He cheats on his wife with a slave girl then has "Allah" justify it and even worse, make it so that the wife is in the wrong for being mad at him, promising him better replacements and prohibiting his wives from ever remarrying if he divorces them or dies because that would "hurt his feelings"

How could anybody with one braincel look at this shit and still believe in it, or defend it? It's beyond sickening, if this fucker lived today then he should be locked behind bars for life, yet here he is with millions of followers around the world, and even more more apologists singing his praises like he's some kind of saint.

This is what I don't understand either. I'm an ex muslim and I think that the only miracle that muhammad did is somehow managing to get 2 billion people right now to basically worship him despite him being a pedo. It really goes to show that humans aren't logical species but rather a species that will believe a lie if it gets repeated for long enough. I think that islam is the worst religion out of all the current abrahamic religions out there. I also think that islam is the second most socially accepted evil out there with the first socially accepted evil being the pro lifer beliefs

Former Christian here. I feel the same. Religion is just a bunch of made up stories used to control people. My thoughts:
-Love God (cool)
-Love people (great!)
-Just generally do not be an asshole (ok)
-Being meek is great! If your life is shit, just accept it because you will get a big, shiny reward when you die (wait, what?)
-Also give this physical institution money as a way to prove how thankful you are to a made-up diety (um?....)
-Also, if you are anything but cis-het, we hate you because you probably will not crank out a bunch of babies to brainwash into our beliefs so we can get money off of them (............)

In 3rd world country islamic schools there are countless stories of physical assault, rape and abuse of kids but nobody speaks up about it. It's gut wrenching. People think that just because it's islamic they cant speak up against it. Parents are either so brainwashed that they accept it or that they're too scared to speak up.

There's even horrific videos of islamic teachers beating up like tiny little children it's insane. It was circulating around social media at one point like 5-10 years ago. Power tripping bastards. This is why I know religion is just a farce to fulfil the evil human ego.

I remember the first day i was sent to one of these islamic schools when young i was just crying by myself and then i forced my parents to pick me up and get me out.

My professor for my electrical engineering course is a woman from Iran and I have much respect for her. I could tell that she had faced a lot of BS, like she was explaining to us the concept of passive vs active response in circuits and the first analogy she came up with was "if I am slapped, will I have a passive or an aggressive response?" she didn't expound on why she chose that analogy, it was likely just representational of what was on her mind (am not psychic). Also I think a lot of my classmates, because they didn't grow up in a very restrictive country, don't understand why there are events promoting the inclusion of women in STEM. "Well I don't see them being oppressed in our country." I also used to think that, but then I realized that if anyone ever hosted an inclusion of women in STEM event in certain countries, they'd probably get shunned or sent to prison. Like in Iran they now have a law where if a woman doesn't wear the hijab, they can face the death penalty. WTF

Hello. I like to share my experience with you people. I just joined this forum but have been reading it for a long time.

I am an ex-muslim. I was born in a somewhat religious family. I wasn't that extremist in the beginning but when I entered the Islamist echo chamber my world changed. This happened in 2019. I became highly antisocial (wasn't so social before then but it worsened + pandemic)

I avoided most of the "normal people" for years. I only befriended Islamists. I developed social anxiety. Especially towards women because it is a taboo to talk to them without a solid reason.

Happily I left this cult back in March 2024. I feel free and less burdened since then.

I saw that happen all the time at multiple Quran schools. I used to get beaten by my teachers when I was a kid, but those beatings were pretty mild from what I remember. They were nowhere near as bad as the little children who were beaten with thick plastic hoses and held down by other kids while the teacher hit them over and over again. And the parents would still send them back to the madrasa the next day, despite the visible marks on their bodies, no doubt.

The kinda stuff you described is why I would support antinatalism. Ignorance is suffering and ignorant people produce suffering. Some people should never be allowed to have children. "Social services" are also a joke and evil people can easily maneuver through them.

This is kind of cute. I don't see an issue with any of the practices you described. Don't get me wrong, I find them abhorrent in theory, but I also consider all live to be a vile waste of time, and ethically undefensible.

All life starts with rape because no human gives consent to be born.
All life starts with slavery because parents enslave you and fuck you (figuratively or literally).
All life is built on non-consensual violence and violation.

If anything, trying to remove male-on-female rape is anti-life - which I do support, but I'd go a step further, and daydream to devise a virus that would make everyone drop dead in an instant (and cover the planet in grey goo for good measure to prevent life ever rising again).

So meh. Get some perspective on things. Take it easy.

Purity culture is toxic too. Sex is not shameful, but natural. Even after I became non religious, I still feel uncomfortable about sex. Abrahamic religions often use fear, like the concept of hell, so people do not deviate from their beliefs.
