I hate humanity. I always lived in the developed world and am a rather civilized person, but there are way more people in the undeveloped part that are behaving in totally unacceptable ways (barbarian) due to complete lack of education. Even in the developed part, things aren't much better due to structural and social problems that result in a lot of misery for the 90%+ population. Humans ( the super-majority) totally disrespect the environment/planet earth as well as other animals (eat, hunt, slaugther, invade). They mercilessly kill elephants for the teeth, friendly mammals like dolphins/orca for their sashimi, tigers/lions for fun/excitement.

In fact, humans by nature are not kind to other humans unless for direct personal benefits. Humans cheat each other, step on top of others to advance their own interests, everything done is for personal gains. Humans being the predominant species on earth, expand population to squeeze out other species, invade the environment, claim those mountains/forests where animals have lived for centuries, see everything in sight (other conscious animals, natural resources, etc) as theirs. This as a whole violent and destructive human-kind being bad to the nature/environment, other animals, as well as own human species, what's there to like about them. I wish mankind can be wiped out.

I feel like this a lot too. Hey, maybe the coronavirus will help thin out the population some! If only it could be selective to only take out the ignorant, selfish, gross people.

I secretly think of ways I can make a coronavirus to wipe out humanity or steal nuclear launch codes so every single terrible human being can die. I think it's human nature to be selfish and forgive yourself for being nasty to others as long as you're alive anything is forgiven. I don't want to live because I'm a human being and I hate those fuckers.

This is a terrible post. There is so much about humanity that is absolutely beautiful. Believe me, I understand suffering too. I'm living it and understand seeing the world through that looking glass. But the world, and people, can be a really good thing. Using your perspective only is the same as using only the perspective of those that see no suffering. Ludicrous and wrong.

I take comfort in the knowledge that any invasive species ultimately hits a tipping point at which its numbers are unsustainable, and by overcompetition for resources, or disease, is either greatly reduced in numbers, or finds itself extinct from the habitat in which it is an alien.

Show me the beauty. Where is it? Are shiny diamonds worth exploiting Africans? Is your fast food worth depressed McDonald's workers? Using your perspective only is the same as using only the perspective of those who see so much about humanity that is absolutely beautiful so they call depressed posts terrible.

There are many facets to humanity. To say otherwise is complete ignorance. That is all.

The world could be better if population can be curtailed so existing ones don't have to compete fiercefully through the so-called invisible hand of resource allocation which results in suffering (mostly unknowingly) for the super-majority just to advance materialism. With a much much smaller human population, many many countries can model Switzerland which I see as the role-model for all (people living in balance with nature and animals, human rights, education and research, rich but no material as Chinese, etc). The world as it current is will just get worse, mankind should be wiped out first.

Everything by Darwinian nature is mostly selfish, but mankind is too self-centered, invasive, destructive, disrespectful, and violent to both themselves and other species/nature. Been to too many parts of the world, things are just bad in way too many places, never can change in practice (one improves, other variables move to negate the effect)
There are many facets to humanity. To say otherwise is complete ignorance. That is all.

There are indeed many, but at least from my eye, most those facets are selfish and evil. I personally just wanna identify a few subjects/fields (have done) and advance my intellectual brain,,live comfortably without being slaved like a factory machine by other evil humans, then peacefully pass away...that seems to be rather difficult in this world.

I know the feeling. Except for a few individuals that I know personally, I hate the majority of humans. The bad ones totally outnumber the good ones, but there is no way to tell the difference sometimes, until after you make the mistake of trusting the bad ones and then they worm their way into your life like parasites. That has been my experience anyway.

One thing I try not to do is group every person into the "evil" category merely for being human because I do know that a few good ones exist. I don't want to become so much of a misanthrope that I lose my ability to empathize because that creates the risk of me becoming the very type of person that I hate. Regardless, it's easier and safer to live in isolation than to spend time around other people, while trying to figure out if I can trust them or if they are going to stab me in the back at some point.

Unless you fancy yourself into a batman/superman movie, it's hard to argue against seeing mankind (as a whole) evil and believing world is better if mankind wiped out. Does thinking and saying it make me Dr.Evil? Hope AI will wipe us out

Not at all. In fact given these crazy days, it would be natural for you to think that way. Remember, friend, these ARE crazy days. You are not alone; calling yourself dr. Evil, whether you think of it or say it, is only human. I find it indeed hard to believe that others haven't thought it. The great philosopher Jean Paul Sartre said "we are all capable of murder in our own minds".
Show me the beauty. Where is it? Are shiny diamonds worth exploiting Africans? Is your fast food worth depressed McDonald's workers? I agree with keiichidono; how can you talk about beauty when the human race is destroying the environment and turning every available piece of land into the latest housing development. Do we truly need diamonds, after? Take away the human race and you are left with mere chunks of carbon. Will those chunks of crystallized carbon feed the hungry, nurse the ill, protect us from corona virus. What, quite frankly, seems ludicrous to me is assigning relative value to pieces of rock.

I wish mankind can be wiped out.

Don't worry, we can and will be, given enough time. If not by our own hands then by the hand of the universe. The sun won't last forever, and its next stage has it engulfing the Earth. Even if humanity moves to other planets and other star systems, the heat death of the universe (everything expanding away from everything else ensures that eventually all will be cold dark space uninhabitable to life of any kind) makes the extinction of humanity a certainty.

I felt so guilty for thinking this, but I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way! Lol
But seriously, COVID-19 has made people worse. I understand it's recommended that we wear masks but I don't it's necessary to take on a holier-than-thou attitude, and start harassing people about it. I wish I had ctb back in 2013 before graduating high school. Had I known the world was going to get any worse. I have Never had a healthy relationship with people, and I doubt I ever will.

The coronavirus is striking many unseen victims across the globe without actually infecting them. Starvation and extreme malnutrition are increasing among many of the world's poorest populations. It's heartbreaking. And who will suffer in the largest numbers? Innocent children.
