It lifts you up. Pulling you higher and higher. You're so high you can't see the ground, can't breath. You're just existing in peaceful bliss.
And then it pulls you back down to earth. Like being awoken with a bucket of ice. It's sudden and sharp. Gasping as you being to breath again. Pulled too far you go under water, still trying to breath.

"it makes you happy" but it's not for you...
You lifted my heart up into believing thing's were ok. Again I got my hopes too high..... Maybe I deserve this pain for being so stupid. What I do know is I don't want to trust you anymore...

The worst of it all is that it teaches you that you can never trust your feelings—ever. Good, bad, indifferent, they're all suspect. And ya, the come down is the worst sort of crash. Urgh…
