I'm being driven 6 hours to a mental hospital across the state in a cop type car, all because I tried to hang myself and I was "saved". Why does society hate suicidal people so much, I really wish suicide was accepted. SI kicked in and I called 911, but I did make a point of being fully suspended off the ground for a bit, and it's barely painful, so I know that if I can beat SI next time, I can be successful. My parents will now be looking though all my mail, even though I'm 20, like wtf even my parents vilify me, so I'll have to wait until I go to college in January to get another rope. On a side note, how the HELL do I beat SI, it's really hard. I really do want to die, but I just haven't gotten past SI unless cops are approaching...

"Normies" and "pro lifers" are living well enough lives to where they are in their own echo chamber and cannot fathom that if circumstances being so bad, that they would want to CTB themselves. They see it that if life is not "good" enough for you to live for, you are doing something wrong and you are "mentally ill". We get locked in a psych ward under the illusion of people wanting to "help" us, when in reality, it's just so we are not society's problem for the time being.

I've been in so many mental hospitals, and I can 100% confirm that they put you in there so that society doesn't have to deal with you for a time. They all say it's "helpful", but it actually makes things worse, and pro-lifers can't seem to grasp that concept.

If you don't want to be saved, don't call 911.

My tip would be to meditate to calm the mind... and then find a method that would kill you by other means... like poison, and then have it be something difficult to detect and with no antidote available for it.

This is actually a really good idea. While hanging isn't really painful, it's still frightening, so a poison may be better.

I'll never fully understand why suicide is seen as deviant. In an increasingly progressive society where choice is valued over traditional beliefs—why isn't suicide included? Detaining individuals against their will in psychiatric wards that are hardly any different from incarceration is even more inhumane than allowing them to make the sovereign choice.

Actually though. They always say something about the "sanctity" of life.

The unfortunate reality is that we exist in such a pro suffering society where life is seen as something to be prolonged at all costs rather than it being a choice whether to carry on existing or not. Suicide should be accepted as being a valid option to free ourselves from an existence not worth enduring as the fact is that all continuing to exist is, is just delaying the inevitable. To die could never be something that is wrong as it's all what humans are destined for, it's our fate to die so therefore it's insane to be against suicide and to wish to restrict method options from others.

But I do believe that the thought of someone voluntarily choosing death over life scares many people as it shatters their worldview and they just cannot understand it. They attach so much value to something as useless and insignificant as life and they delude themselves that life is always worth enduring for everyone, no matter what. But the reality is that for many people suicide is the most rational and preferable option. At least it is for me, as to die would prevent unnecessary decades of suffering that would inevitably be experienced if I continued to exist with no limit as to how much torment I could potentially experience.
