I'm guessing there are some evolutionary reasons behind this phenomenon but I don't really see the point.
It looks nasty, it feels like shit and having to shave it off every now and then is just such a chore.
I feel a little less depressed today so I might just give that bush the trim it deserves.

Who else is struggling with unsolicited body hair?

Omg yes! But it does actually serve a purpose for mating..... Not that it matters anymore with perfumes and colognes.

What purpose?
And don't forget the "bleach my anus" crowd..

That sounds excruciatingly painful.. how much does it cost?

Have you tried SoftSheen-Carson's Magic Shaving Powder? I use the red can (extra strength) and it works really well.

Follow the instructions regarding mixing with water (it should be like a semi-watery toothpaste/regular hair gel), then apply generously (ensuring not to get any on your glands or actual anus or it'll sting!), and leave it for 5 mins. Then wet some toilet tissue (until it's damp) and wipe away the paste.

Just 3 warnings...
  • Don't put any on your glands/anus
  • Don't leave for longer than 5 mins (it'll actually burn you where the hair follicles meet the skin and you'll be left with a unsightly rash)
  • It smells like eggy farts (so make sure your area is well ventilated)

I'm fine with body hair either dense enough to the point when it completely covers the skin and becomes soft to the touch, or no hair at all, but I'm absolutely not fine with the middleground where one can see the skin alternating with the bits of hair, which also reminds me of centipedes.

Your quality threads have given me insight into your @StateOfMind as well as given me some good laughs! :))

Shaving in general is annoying as fuck. I'd say keeping up with facial hair is more of an annoyance for me though. My beard just grows too damn fast.

I once got a chemical burn on my chest from using Nair to try to get rid of unwanted body hair. It was a rather embarrassing medical visit. :mmm:

I read somewhere once that ass hair is useful for granting farts the potential to be silent. If that's true I'd rather keep mine.

I think the sound happens when the air tries to break through the buttocks. It goes out silent when I move one cheek to the side.

Same. When I was a kid I hoped I would never grow it. It's dehumanizing. But what I hate even more than that is wiping after I poop. I'm just so sick of it. Like how many more years do I have to do this for? My body couldn't have figured this out on its own by now?

Yeah, my biggest enemy is git. Those tiny balls of poo that accumulate in your anal jungle. What a nightmare.

I don't even know what you mean by that because my first pass is always a baby wipe. Smears everything together and turns it all into one homogenous mix of things you need to get rid of. I'm in aristrocatic denial of course but yeah it seems like anal hair is there just to spite you.

I mean really it's strange it isn't normal here.

I've been thinking about that, but really when it comes to hair in such sensitive areas you probably want to pull them out by the root so they don't grow back ingrown. I'm hoping to get my hands on an epilator, otherwise duct tape will have to do.

lol duct tape!!!! Well i used to shave and you get ingrowing hairs alot! the veet wasn't as bad just effort putting all over chest hair etc lmao. I did used to use razor blades but got rashes all the time, so just use electric beard trimmer now as it cuts close. still effort!!

I wouldn't recommend an epilator. That shit hurts lol and I've only tried it on my leg hair. It's less painful to wax it although I can't say I recommend duct tape either.

them epilator things like drag the hair out, brutal!!!!

I don't mind waxing had my eyebrows done and it didnt bother me at all. i always wanted a back, sack and a crack but don't think i'd feel comfortable doing it in front of some beautician.the naked part wouldn't of bothered me when i was in shape, but what if you got a boner :shy:

I think I'm pretty cool with the pain. I already pluck my sparse facial hair, hoping it will grow back finer. Worst case scenario I have a towel in my mouth to bite down on.

Well that would be awkward for both you and the beautician lol. I'm sure there are male beauticians out there who do waxing. You won't be able to do your back but you can try waxing your sack and crack yourself lol

yeah exactly. i used to do alot of work in a hair and beauty place. they were good looking women though,so no chance i was asking lol. I would of had to strap it down lol.

i have done my back, with a shaver. its hard work but i used to do it altime. let myself go though now so its not a worry. still use the shaver. just i used to be constantly keep myself hairless. it looks so much cleaner!

I can kind of handle back hair but the body hair that bothers me the most is when people have hairy feet.

I absolutely HATE hair that grows bellow the neck for me. My hair grows so fast I need a haircut once every 2 weeks, so hair in other places is a constant state of discomfort. Seriously I'll trim below the belt line and in just a few days I'll need to trim it again. And I don't trim lightly I go until I'm bald as possible it sucks. And don't get me started on the crack area where hair grows, I have a small assortment of hair buzzers but the skin down there is too damn sensitive and it hurts like hell if you cut yourself by accident. I should try that Soft Sheen stuff, sounds like it can help.
