Venting I hate A*stralia and N*w Z*alnad

Is it normal to have such hatred for a country that you go out of your way to not have any association or context with?

I don't know why I have so much anger for these countries.

Are You from AU or NZ?? Do you have any association w/ those countries? If not, I'm gonna say yes, it's absolutely bizarre. I've some good friends from AU & NZ & in my experience they are both good places to live.

What makes you angry or hate them? Have they done anything to you? Is your life effected those oceanic, English speaking countries?

I'll admit this is kind of a strange thread. Like, is there a reason you hate them? Australia I can kinda empathize with (although dont agree), most of the country is barren uninhabited desert, full of strange, deadly creatures, troubled history etc etc. I'm shocked anyone could hate NZ, I absolutely love that country. Amazing scenery, great weather, happy people, competent leaders etc etc. They seem to have everything put together, looking from the outside.

Sorta off topic, but I've a friend in NZ. She is a heroin addict. She is an orphan & has no family. But she is doing so much better than me. She has a BF (she claimed he's abusive, but she just moved into a new private house & immediately invited him to stay, so she must want him). I've actually asked her where she gets her motivation to continue living from??She knows I'm suicidal & that I use this forum. Seems she really has it hard. But she also is obviously content with her life enough that she would never consider suicide.

It's not really beneficial to compare myself to others, but I just don't know how she keeps pushing forward despite being so sad/hopeless & the crippling drug addiction.
