It is not just my sexual desire, but I also struggle and suffer from anhedonia. I hardly find any pleasure in life, I got lots of hobbies but thanks to anhedonia I am unable to enjoy them. Pretty empty existence, right?

I haven't had a libido for years but fortunately sex still feels good. Not as good before all the bs meds though. I was on clozaril too many years ago, that shit is hardcore.

Similarly, there are plenty of cases of allosexuals who happen to talk about having very low libidos. Asexuality refers to a lack of sexual attraction towards others, not a lack of sexual arousal.

I'm bipolar and I've also noticed this since I started taking meds a year ago. But it's weird, I can see a woman in porn, in a movie, in real life, etc. and feel attracted to them. But I don't really want to have sex with them. Masturbation is so difficult too, and I usually feel nothing when I try it these days.

I'm sure it's bc of the medication and an persistent depressive state.
Over the past years, I've been worn out by a series of frustrating sexual experiences.

I still long for a romantic relationship and have someone to share my life with.

I've looked into things like sexual sobriety from Sex Addicts Anonymous.
Though I do not share their underlying religious beliefs, I do feel I had a pathological relationship with sex, a "sex addict", in their own words.

So anyways, now it's been over a month since I'm sober* and I feel better this way.

* Sober as in refraining from promiscuity, I still masturbate from time.

My libido is died off too when I was on meds. I stopped almost a year ago and my libido improved but then depression takes it all away. Haven't had sex since last year and even then I don't remember when the last time was.
