It's the only thing that gives me peace of mind. 2 years ago, I discovered philosophical pessimism with Emil Cioran and it really introduced me to a world that I knew but never identified. Now, I'm familiar with most of the philosophers in that genre: Schopenhauer, Leopardi, Ligotti, etc. I've never considered using these teachings pragmatically because I've always thought there was no way, but I was wrong. Martin Butler (Negative Philosophy) introduced a way to implement philosophy into your own life, just as if it was a science. I'm identifying too much desires and optimism in my life; it's making me suffer. I'm ready.

How exactly can this philosophy be used pragmatically?

@worried_to_death I believe that it could have the same effects as following fundamental Buddhism. It lessens desires and expectations, consequently lessening suffering. See this video below.
