honestly, i dont wanna leave any letters behind. im too tired, lazy, drained, and exhausted. does anyone feel like this too?

Statistically, the vast majority of people who kill themselves do not actually leave notes.

My first note years ago was a novel and each draft after that has gotten shorter and shorter. Not sure if I will bother with one at this point.

sometimes i feel i want to leave a letter and sometimes i dont/sometimes before attempts i have and sometimes i havent. i have no idea how it will actually be once i do.

Yeah I feel that way sometimes. Just too drained to write it. Also, any time I've tried to write a letter, explaining my reasons why, I end up talking myself out of it.

I've heard that a letter can help loved ones properly process and grieve the loss, and I really do want to do what I can for them, but I don't know what to write. I don't think any amount of explaining would make it make sense to them. I ended up putting together a kind of generic "if you're reading this, it means I'm gone," letting my family know I love them and saying what I'd like done with my things. I hope it's enough.
