I walk around fine, but then after abt 5 minutes I start thinking act what each for is doing and how it makes it's gait and then I observe so hard I end of changing the way I walk. I'm sure it's gotta be changing the way I look when I walk. I'm also sure it contributes to the west on my shoes. Like my left foot hardly pulls up and it feels normal, but then my right foot the toes pull up some and if I don't use moleskin I get worn spots on one of my toes. I also count to four like marching band...lrlr... and start over. Sometimes hard starting the count will reset my feet and I can go awhile further with the natural gait.

How crazy Ani?

I think it's like when you think about breathing and it makes you sort of overthink it. Try not to think about for a while. You can revisit it in a week or two if you still remember.
When attempting to not think of something it can cause you to actually think more about it so good ways to not think about something are to distract yourself and think of something else or preempt the event by making it harder to focus on walking. So things like speaking on the phone, viewing gum or eating and focussing on that or watching or listening to a video or podcast that interests you and pulls your focus.

Can't tell how much of a problematic issue this is for you as it could just be a case of an inquisitive mind.
We're not all perfectly symeteical. Add to that wear and tear and we can be a little different on either side. This can effect walking/gait but if you want to understand and address it I think it's best to speak to a specialist about it. They can look at it in prerty good detail and advise you on whether it would benefit from some treatments, exercises or certain shoes or insoles etc. Might help you stop overthinking it to speak with someone. If it bothers you enough that is.

Aah, that kind of overthinking is awful to go through, and I'm sorry you're dealing with it. It certainly sounds like intrusive thoughts, and (not a doctor, obviously) could possibly be some sort of anxiety or somatic ocd. If it keeps troubling you, It might be worth seeking help, either professional if you're able and comfortable, or even through anxiety or OCD forums and the like.
Either way, I hope you're able to find some quiet and down time from these thoughts. I wish you luck!

Thank you so much. This is kinda of a problem for me bc I got a 2yo dog who walks a lot. We go out every 3 hours (used to be 2, but the foot thing keeps getting in the way. Sometimes I'm able to "reset"by staying a hard count of 1234 again, like I think I said. Sorry if I'm repeating. I appreciate your wisdom. I will check on talking to someone.

Tysm. I check into some help... If I can get up the nerves at the actual time of the appt. Sometimes I chicken it and have to reschedule with my mhp. I'll be more motivated this time. Again...tysvm
