My life has been shit for as long as I can remember. theres very little in this hell hole I enjoy, and even less I actually wanna take part in. The only thing ive ever enjoyed is make music on soundcloud or whatever and nobody even gives a shit. everybodys a critic and all that. All i want is people to listen and appreciate not unload useless advice idc about on me, fuck. I just want a reason. a purpose. but like, does life even have that? I mean seriously whats the point of all this, is there even one? as far as Im concerned, probably not? life is what you make it or whatever but nobody gives a fuck. I fluctuate between somehow having a tiny bit of drive to do anything, to just.. plotting unaliving in my head and its like- I know its not healthy but also idgaf ya know. idk. idfk

Craving attention on social media is dangerous. In my experience it just leads to disappointment 99% of the time. It sounds like you need other ways to get your music heard and appreciated. Maybe you could try organising your own event and advertise it? Get some other creative types involved too and see if you can make a night out of it. Or look for DJs who might want to play your stuff

underground musicians have connections, that's where they get their support. Basically they just suck each other off for status lol.

As with any artistic (or entertainment) field most people fail, its incredibly difficult to be heard/seen/appreciated, and takes years and years of consistency. Not to say you aren't, but managing expectation is a huge and crucial part of the process. 99% of the consumer base genuinely don't care, because its on you to make them interested and care about what you're producing. As with any artist of any field you'll face only rejection for the majority of the time, and you'll just have to take the punches, or leave.

My best advice for the rest of the post, is to try to expose yourself to more and more things to find something that feels similar to producing music, in regards to your own enjoyment. Seeking out happiness is more or less impossible for some, however if you decide to continue on through life, finding fleeting distractions and enjoyment in little things is important.

Idk how much this helps, but much love friend, I wish you the best.

ive done lots, ive been around, every job ive ever worked fucking sucks, every other hobby just doesnt feel the same, I like to rap aand sing nd shit, i like the artistic freedom that comes with music, its part of what drives me towards the field. I have no idea how to put stuff out there to get people interested in my crap when frankly, I just make it for the enjoyment of the process, Idk how you advertise that, or how you go about all that, besides like free alcohol lmao that'll get people to show up

I dont typically share my stuff on widely popular social media, I mainly share it with friends and keep it on soundcloud- I mean I have a tiktok but im not pushing it on there or anything just posting bs freestyles sometimes or snippets of what im doing or whatever. Its just like, when the only thing you really gaf about in life is music (or one specific thing) whatta do ya know
