Humber Bridge

So I've done some thinking.
Would jumping off the humber bridge kill me? How likely would it be to be instantaneous? Would the adrenaline most likely stop me feeling any pain?

Seems like a good choice to me. As @marcusuk63 said, the success rate is quite high and as of may last year there are not fences or any others barriers that could make it harder for you.

There will never be fences it would compromise the weight and aerodynamics , i can see it from my street and watched them build it

the brdge is only round 35 m high. if you don't want to fucking drown, you have to pick something way more high. I'd only recommend something over 200 m when the surface below is water. I bet most of the sucessful with the humber bridge are sucessful because they get badly injured on the impact, so they had no chance to swim...

Nah, it burns and causes you to panic really bad, unless youre heavily drugged or something.
Ive tried to drown myself before.

Only 5 people surviving? Thats a good chance for this to work imo
But I would add 3 meters of rope tied to the railing so I can sever my head off and never be recovered

I was about to start a thread on this and then this popped up. I've considered it as an option. A bridge that's high enough over water (water just seems less intimidating somehow). The north Tower is actually built on my great grandads land , he had a chalk mill on it , the old mill tower is still there (old family photo)

I dont think it`s that hard to get over the rail on the cable if you want full height , "adrenaline junkies often do "

too messy and i dont want to hold traffic up , nothing as selfish as a huge tail back ruining other peoples day .
mine is carbon monoxide or hanging .
i`m going to sell my house , cutting myself off from everyone and just disappear hopefully never to be found

That's one of the things about water that appeals to me. It is over water right? Rather than leave a mess to clean up I'd just wash away. There must be times it's quiet right? I don't want a crowd

Yes and as you can see by the footpath the railings aren't high

I was literally just thinking about going to england to visit my best friend then leaving and going alone to this bridge and offing myself but not knowing whether it has a pedestrian path and whether its accessible ruined it for my ocd mind
